Freaking busy

Still recovering, now only feeling a bit tired and can only speak softly. But then as usual, keep getting bombarded with assignments, and it's even mid-term exam week! I know I said this a million times but... GOT TIME TO DIE NO TIME TO SICK!! X(

Yesterday Sum asked me and some other people to meet him in Wangsa to yamcha and see his new 'lou poh'. But today got assignments to pass up, so really no time to go. Wonder what happened last night?

Tomorrow another assignment... and TWO exams. The damn assignment haven't even started! No sleep tonight, again. And one assignment still in my bag, although the dateline was on Wednesday... Die la!

On the love subject... one day I took the initiative to ask a Penang girl if she wants to join our gang, since she was lonely, and she agreed (for that day only). We ate together, and soon I realised she was actually ANOTHER nice girl. With an A in English (RARE in TARC), she comes from Penang. The strange part about her is that she owns an Apple laptop, but using a Nokia 3210 H/P! But good also, cause she said her HP dropped on the floor twice (the second time I saw it dropped, the cover, battery and body splitted apart... o.O;).

I even took her pic and draw her out for a potrait assignment, which turn out just OK (5/10). Why I didn't get LG's pic to draw instead? Well... call me noob, but I feel that if I do that, I will look 'desperate', and I'm scared ppl will notice my 'feelings'... PLUS her face is a bit harder to draw (got a bit pimples). I got greedy and go for the easier pic to draw...! XD

Argh, I realised that I'm really bad at creating interesting and long conversations with girls... NOOB! T_T

Girl no.2... her name is... Penang girl! XD

Busy month for everyone?

Wah, is it just me... or are a lot of people getting busy nowadays? Taiko Aceone no come my blog, a lot of bloggers didn't update their blog and the active bloggers also seldom update liao. Maybe it's that time of year... or everyone no more fresh idea what to blog liao.

Me getting busier and busier. Need to draw 35 art drawings in 2 weeks, history project, art project, computer project, creative thinking project... and co-coriculum starting next week. All projects pass up next week too, die man! David and Daniel, no yamcha for me next week please...! >.<

Today got my hands for the first time on human figure drawing. Today's 3 models were girls, and my friends praised me, saying 'Walao, you are not human man!' XD The only problem is I couldn't draw the face, cause my potrait drawing still sucks. Blame it all on MIA that does NOT teach human figure drawing AND potrait drawing... stupid MIA! Even TARC better!!

This Sat could have joined my old TARC friends cause class cancelled, but then I need to fix the car front view glass (cracked). Oh well, will missed going out with them to Kuala Selangor like last time. Will miss the chance to see 'her' too. Maybe I could use this opportunity to finish up all my projects... >.<;

Worse luck of the year

Two days ago was really sui (bad) for me... First I accidentally yank my necklace, causing it to putus into two. The necklace has been with me for nearly 10 years, it's so sad watching it break apart like that. Then at night got the news that there is no water in my apartment again. No water + no lift = Disaster! So in the chaos of filling every bucket with water, I accidentally step on something... *Tuut!* It's the PSP!!! Repairing it with my own pocket money, I lost a whooping RM300... there goes my dream of a Graphic Tablet! T_T

But then yesterday was a happy day, as my team which consist of Daniel, David and Andrew beat my bro's team (Chooi, Kelvin and a specky guy) in DOTA at night, for two rounds in a role. Then we yamcha and watched football, which Spain beat Russia 4-1. Went back around 2am, and got school the next day! >.<

Today nothing special, except my old MIA teacher wanted us to be 'hardworking' and try to take more pics and draw more sketches, which he will see on week 7th. If a lot of us shows laziness, then he will discontinue it. I love to sketch, but take pics... with my super old 2 MP camera!? I heard that there will be a portrait drawing, 15 min after the class starts next week. Hope it really happens, and the model is a girl, not a boy! XD

School for six days a week!?

Last Sat went for the first class that uses BM, which is Hubungan Etnik (something to do with perpaduan antara kaum). It was like sejarah about the races in Malaysia, and they even touch about sensitive issues from the past... to teach we should understand and not repeat the same mistake, bla, bla,bla. It is quite interesting, but how much % of it will be boring?

After the lecture finished, some guy went in front and write down some changes in the classes. Suddenly our class has a tutorial on freaking Saturday! *TUUT!* My bro only has 4 class a week while I have SIX!?! Stupid people who come up with this timetable, curse you!!!

First week and I can already feel the pressure coming. It won't be long before the tsunami of assignments and projects come, sweeping me away from all my pleasure time. Oh well... everyone has their role to play I guess. Today will be having my first tutorial *I hope no cancel again*. Time to meet some new girls as friends! XD

Fourth and fifth day

Yesterday and today the lectures finally go on as usual, no more class cancelled. Some of the teacher was nice, some was serious... but all of them are dedicated, and they don't teach just for the sake of getting their pay, which is a good thing.

Today got to know some new friends, Indians and Chinese, but only males. Hanging along with them feels not the same from my first batch of TARC friends. Maybe because different attitudes or different timeline. Whatever the reason is, I will stay with them for two years, thus I need to adept... by hook or by crook.

This semester they won't be any usage of computer labs, but a lot of projects. Sad to say soon I will be too busy like the rest of the TARC students, and won't be able to hang out with my friends or blog frequently liao. Oh well, at least this is better than me wasting time doing nothing at home! XD

Tomorrow should be a free day, but then some kns lecturer skipped his lecture this week, so will be replacing it tomorrow, on a Sat!?! Damn... how a single person could drag so many problems to so many people... sounds percuiliar, ain't it? -_-;

Three days, no more strike!

Today got two lecture. First lecture AGAIN the teacher did not show up. So took the opportunity to choose class rep. It was weird cause usually the teacher choses the class rep on the first day of tutorial, during my times. Maybe cause this course rep cannot stand people keep sms and calling her, she wants the class rep to take the responsibilities pula... swt.

Unfortunaltely, although I wished, I wasn't pick as a class rep. Oh well, being a class rep means u need to fork out a lot of money for phone calls and sms. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise that I didn't make it? Anyway, my class rep is a girl, which looks a bit cute and pretty... so pass la! XD

The second lecture finally was our official FIRST lecture for the week. It was introduction to illustration. I thought illustration was Illustrator, the software. Mana tau it was the drawing class again. I thought Multimedia Design no need draw!? -_-

Looks like this Pn. Nik is quite a serious teacher, and she graduated from MARA. Saying 100% coursework is exam marks, our fate totally lies in her hands, swt. And she wants us to buy those stuffs that I bought last time when I was in MIA... sigh, feels like MIA all over again! Oh well, at least I'm a bit senior, hope I could excel in this subject! :P But before that, need to use a lot of money to buy those art materials again... ouch!

Second day...

The course rep doesn't answer my call, so I called the assistant. He said there's a lecture at 5pm, when I'm getting ALREADY getting ready for the 1pm lecture, as told by the course rep yesterday. So I wait for 5pm...

I went early to check the timetable again, this time I finally understood the freaking confusing timetable. But then it says there's a class at 6, not 5! So I called the assistant again, and he said no class cause the 6pm one is Language class, not Lecture... *tuut*!

So wasted another day doing nothing, tomorrow class at 8am, horay... -_-;

Official first day of TARC

Last week the course rep told us to check our timetable from TARC website, but to my dismay, the site only show timetables for SBS (business) side. No other alternative, I went to TARC around 9am to check the timetable on the notice board. To my horror (but expected), there were hundreds of students trying to get their timetable too...!

Took me nearly half an hour just to get the freaking timetable, but only the time, not the venue or subject. And to make matter worse, I could only find the timetable for lab and tutorial, can't find where's the freaking lecture timetable! So I went to the last resort of calling the course rep, who then told me today there's a lecture at 1pm.

So I tapau chicken rice and went back, with a stomach ache. Luckily no class then! So... I wasted some time Mapling, and around 12.15pm, I called the course rep again, to know where's the venue (forgot to ask earlier). It was lucky I called from home, because then she told me the office suddenly last minute cancelled the lecture! I asked her when and where's tomorrow lecture, but she could only say it's at 1pm, don't know where.

Then she says she's busy and couldn't look at the timetable then. Poor Nalina, she even told me she had around 50 sms and calls today, maybe asking for the timetable like me. Imagine need to reply back 50 sms, how much do that cost?! Being a course rep, you need to fork out your own money too, kesian... Still I thanked her and hope she could deal with it like a real... woman. But I need to call her back tomorrow to know tomorrow's lecture... at least I called, not SMSed! XD

P/S: I hope TARC could be better well organize. I know with 250,000 students, it would be hard. But still...!

Second day of Mass Call

Today was nearly late, so when I entered the hall, DK D, the side where the Multimedia Designers were supposed to sit were nearly full. No choice, I sit the most behind, beside a guy (which looks so pretty I thought was a girl). Then the seniors started to shout their voice out, because there was no speaker on.

Looks like they will be selecting a Course Rep. I don't want to be it, cause if the teacher was late, you need to run all the way to the admin to ask if the teacher took leave or not... everyday. Since no one volunteered, the seniors starts to pick people randomly. I sort of pity them, being randomly chosen to do what they don't want to do.

Then suddenly a thin guy with specs walk up, towards my direction. Then he ask me 'Can you go down?' I was stunned... 'Me!?'. Kns, I shouldn't have laughed in my heart earlier, now I'm one of them! So, reluctantly, I walk down the long stairs, with nearly 200 people watching me. After that each of us need to introduce ourselves. So being the idiot I am, I said 'Hi, I'm Jason. I live in Tmn Melawati. I'm good in English and BM, but not so good in Mandarin. I know Cantonese too. I like to play basketball and... DOTA! Thank you'...

Yes, the crowd laughed, a bit. And I don't know who cast a spell on me to say those idiotic words. But because of that, I was luckily not picked, and 1 Indian with 3 Chinese became the committee members. Later a lecturer came to tell us about the ups and downs of college life, and he WAS the teacher I knew from my old school. Looks like he is bound to teach me in one of my classes, sooner or later. How will I say 'Hi' to him then!? -_-;

At least now some of my future classmates will know me, since I was the most 'obvious' among all. Sighhh.....

Mass call TARC 2008

Woke up earlier than the alarm clock, today was an important day. It's the mark of a student from SSH, going to start a new beginning in the big big world of college... TAR college. Studying among students which are way younger of age, what will the day's adventure brings?

When he reach the main hall, there was quite a number of students already in line to enter the big building. Strange thing is, the male line is way shorter than the female's, thus enabling him to get his new TARC clothes and kit in a matter of minutes. Luckily the clothes still fit, but then he regrets not wearing a belt with his loose jeans! Walking slowly, he enters the hall.

Soon he was seating between two guys on the right side of the hall. There's a tall dude sitting in front of him and his ear piercing looks... painful. The hall slowly was filled with students and finally full. Two young people host the event and luckily they wasn't as boring as the crowd, which is either shy or haven't taken their breakfast.

Mostly introducing the VIPs of the school, it was really a boring session. Luckily the Head of SSH was a funny dude, although he wasn't 'young'. Some of the jokes he said was 'This 2 week will be Speaking English week. I hope you all will try your best to speak in English because even when DOTA-ing, you type in English right? When you 'piak' the enemies...' Looks like the old also knew of DOTA, nice...

Saw one of his old teachers which shifted from his old school, he was shocked that he was not using the same name frequently used then. But one of the experienced lecturers, he was teaching Creative Arts and Hospitality. Rare chance he will be teaching him, he thoughts... When the SSH VIPs moved out of the hall, they began to disband too. Thought of finally able to go home, when he stepped out of the hall, there was another school tour he was supposed to join, but this time among Multimedia Design students only.

Feeling the need to know his future colleagues, he entered the tour, which was badly done by the unserious seniors. It was Speaking English week, yet sometimes they use Mandarin to describes the buildings around. If I wasn't a senior myself, I would have been more clueless after the tour. Some was even asking each other questions regarding the admin stuffs, although they studied two years there. Two words... Unprepared 'Seniors'.

Finally the tour is at its end, he will need to go for another event tomorrow at nine. This time they will select the Course Rep, which he doubts he wants to be among the 200++ students. He was glad there was some cute and beautiful girls in the course too, but he didn't spot any within his preferences to his dream gal. Maybe time will tell if this course could heal him from his old sickness in the heart. Maybe.....

Yesterday finished registering for TARC

Had a busy day yesterday, go here and there to finish up all the preparations then go to TARC to pass up the form. Then only I know that all the stuffs (money order, stamps, photostat service and prove of authencity) is provided in there! O...M...G la!! Then I don't need to go post office and photostat shop if I knew that, kns!

So, finally all settled... will soon start my life as a student again. Although it is too late, yet better to be late than never. Although it will look strange and weird, still I need to endure it to become successful. Although I may get criticized or mocked around, I STILL must do it...! Maybe after completing it then finish my last sem in GD, I will get two Diplomas? Who knows.....

If you didn't know, I'm taking a dip in Multimedia Design this year, 1) because I prefer to use the com and combined it with hand-tasking stuffs. 2) it will help if I decided to be serious in blogging or anything else that is related to the internet later. 3) it has some relation with GD, so I can use it as an advantage in the future!

Went for TARC Open Day 2008

Today when I woke up, mom said 'Let's go to TARC now!'. I was surprised and said 'Huh? This early...?!?'. It's a Sunday morning, semangat betul my mom XD

So went to TARC at 11am. Thought of eating breakfast in the canteen, but it is closed! I was getting a bit grumpy, missing my breakfast. Luckily after I parked my car, there's 2 van distributing free drinks in front of the main hall where they hold the Open Day. It was cold Vico and cold 'tongkat ali brand' chocolate drink. Of course I choose Vico, so I drank 3 cup of it as my breakfast. Ahh... I'm ready for the day!

Went inside, there were people giving a set of papers+a calendar+1 pen. I took one set, and proceed into the hall. There were quite a lot of people (not as much as PC fair, luckily). The hall was big and looks well maintained (quite new too). I was happy to see so many new students asking the TARC staffs for information. It's as though I'm a new student there, again (fresh feeling), haha...

My main destination is the School of Social Science and Humanities. But for my mom and bro, it was the doctor's booth (where they offer free check ups). Looking curiously, I saw some of the first year's student works. I was really amazed at some of the pictures. They Jay Chow's colored posters is so detailed, it's as though I'm looking at a color-printed picture. The black and white drawings were so wonderfully drawn, I can imagine it taking me a year just to finish it! Amazing, really...

Then we enrolled for the 'Tour around the college' ride. It was fun and informative... I went to some places I have never seen before (newly constructed) and TARC was waaaay better (in a lot of terms) than a few years before, when I studied there. The best tour was the new 'kitchen'. It's the place to teach the food service students how to cook and stuffs. It's new, and the kitchen is fully equipped with cooking and cleaning utensils. We even have a free taste of a pudding (nice!) and chocolate cookie (a bit hard). I heard that students can dine the food prepared by other students there too (standard priced!).

The computer lab is also now using flat screens (last time, old CRT monitors!) and the library even have group discussion rooms (with air-cond). I was really glad the old TARC image in my mind is now substitute with a new, high-tech and neat college. And it's still very affordable too! XD

P/S: The PTPTN people even asked me 'This year are you 18 years old yet?'. I was so happy! LOL

TARC reconstructing

Yesterday went to fetch my bro to TARC, as always... then I realised that TARC was constructing a new area into some kind of building/ parking area. It took a very huge area, and because I was driving when I noticed it, I thought they were demolishing a part of the car park AND yam yam park to make way for the construction.

Then it suddenly make my heart sad and I said to myself 'Oh no! Why are there demolishing yam yam park too?! It's the special place where I met used to hang out with her (the few most cherished moments of my life), how could they be so cruel...!?!' But later I realised from my bro that only a big part of the parking lot is renovated, and our yam yam park is still left intact, untouched. I was so glad! ^^

Lol... worried for no reason, that's me. For those who don't know, yam yam park is a small park where there is a lot of trees and places for you to sit and tables for you to study/ hang out. A long looong looooooong time ago, when I went there to studied (but later quited)... I met a girl. She was my first friend, after I stepped out of school and lost all my secondary friends to go into college life.

She was alone too, so we become friends and most of the time went to yam yam park to talk and hanged out while waiting for recess to finish, just the two of us. That's when I felled for her, but sadly... it was one sided. We still remains as friends now, but not as 'intimate' as last time, when there's only the two of us... under the yam yam trees, talking our hearts out like the very best of friends. Ahh... memories..........

*slaps myself awake before I sink more deeper* ~cheers~

Went to eat at TBR today

Send my bro to TARC then wait for an hour before I fetch them back again. So what do I do with the one hour? Go to TBR, which is nearby TARC, and have a tea break. See ppl eating all around me... I feel the urge to eat too, else it will feel awkward sitting there drinking iced Chinese tea, for a freaking one hour!

Saw the old lady still selling Chinese nasi lemak (I used to like eating her nasi lemak when I study in TARC) so I called some nasi lemak. With an egg and a piece of luncheon meat (I bet you donno what this is!) and the basic nasi lemak stuffs, I asked her how much it costs. Suprisingly, it still costs so low! Just RM2!! I was surprised with the hike in cost of living, I could still get a decent meal like that for RM2... amazing! And it taste good too!! :P

After that bought some nice butter buns (50 sen each) and egg tarts (50 sen each too) and went home. Wow... just a trip like that make me feel nostalgic of the best times of my life, when I studied for a short moment in TARC a few years back. I found my best of friends there, my love there... and those memories will forever stay in my heart. I will forever remember the one and only, low cost of living, full of nice students, best of the best... TAR College. Cheers!! :P

It's her birthday, again

 So today is 'her' birthday. The old me will be thrilled. It's like one of the most important date of the year, as important as ...
