Another outing, just the 4 of us

Wow, slept only nearly 5 hours, then quickly rush n drive to Jimmy's house yesterday. Yeah, I was later arriving his house, where I then parked my car and followed in his new car to fetch SG and WC. Our destination? To The Curve and karaoke~! XD

As usual, I sang my heart out with SG who chooses all English songs, my fav! Now they have unlimited flow of water, just that a bit mafan need to call them come in each time we need a refill. At RM16.50 for 3 hours singing and lunch, worthy la~! :)

Then have a tiring journey of walking here n there shopping for the girls, argh my legs! But it is always fun to accompany friends in doing activities, haha. Then we went to Murni for dinner. A bit expensive but worth the amount spent with the amount of food consumed. Chat more around until nearly 9pm and we start our journey home.

Had much good conversation with SG. Yeah, I agree that YL is not what u call the 'perfect' choice as a gf, nor will she be the best wife. She asked me if I still love her and I paused a while... then answered her 'slowly diminishing feelings'. Yeah, I'm mad at her for not joining us for Karaoke today. I'm even more mad at her for not joining us at Murni. Her reasons? None... but I already know her reasons is always only 1... "lazy/ no mood". Pft~!

Slowly I regain my senses... I think I love YL for so long is because she is the ONLY girl I see, without broadening my horizons to others. No I didn't say I want to woo SG, but there is a lot more nice girls out there like SG that I should search for, not clinging to a girl like YL that I know will totally make any man beg under her knees if they marry her, haha. Too rough, not my style. Goodbye YL, you are not my target anymore. I know the remaining feelings inside me will subside if you continue to be the arrogant, lazy and ignorant girl you are now. Which is the same attitude since I fell in love with you 9 years ago, sigh... I guess something never change, do they?

A fun weekend with friends

Ah... another week filled with fun and laughter with my friends, without needing to worry about work and studies. Doing intern only but already I feel a little tension on work life... that is why I am not rushing to work at all, lol.

Anyway last week Sat we went to Malacca. Yeah it was a bit pain on the wallet but well worth it! Drove to Jayaone to meet with them, then drove my car to park at WingC's place. Me, SG and Jimmy went aboard WingC's car (but it was Jimmy that drove) and away we go to Malacca at around 11am~!

Traffic jam like siao... bummer! Looks like a lot KL ppl also have the same thought as us, "3 days of holiday should be spent outside KL!" Haha... So we chat along the way and in the end too tired and slept in the car (all except the driver). When we woke up, we were near Malacca, finally! So me and SG went down 1st and book a place to eat the "chicken rice ball", and luckily we were the last one! Need to queue and get number for a small restaurant like that, I was like... "Wow, really so famous meh?". Then we went to our sit while waiting for Jimmy and WC. They parked really far so it took some time for them to reach.

Finally our food arrived. I really forgot the last time I ate it (I was below 10 years old then) so I thought it was really nice. In the end we were given a couple balls of rice and a plate of chicken. I was like "WTF!? These only!??". And sadly, yes...! So I ate it, feeling extremely hungry. Ok... it taste nice and special... but OVERATED! It wasn't as super as I thought... just special because the rice was in the form of balls. WTF??!? Now I know I don't need to crave for this food anymore since it is just a bit special than normal... and damn pricey to boot!

Then we went walking around Chonker Street. Like Petaling Street in KL, there are a lot of stuffs there, and damn pricey to "chop" foreigners and visitors like us. I thought of buying some souvenirs but cancel it due to the price. I would have bought it for my love one, if I ever have one... haha. Anyway the best thing about the walk is we were able to try more special food, which is baba laksa and nyona curry (if I am not mistaken their names). Yes, this is good! Not too pricey too... I will take this anytime over that chicken rice ball!

SG wanted to buy some toto numbers, so we bought one using 1 number from all of us. But no strike though, haha... Then we walk back to the car. Poor SG walked painfully there because her high heels are not meant to walk far distance. I wished I could help her but all I could do is slowly follow her. Then when in the car WC borrowed her sandals to her, which she wore until we went back KL.

After the street we went to a shopping mall because Jimmy wanted to test the new IPad2. It was cool no doubt... but we were playing the games more than the functions, haha. Then we left for Seremban to buy Seremban Siew Pau.

Got a bit lost there but finally found one, called Empayer Siew Pau. But there was a restaurant there too, and the siew pau was inside it. Special place... so we decided to sit down and eat dinner there, since a lot of ppl was there too. And we were not let down, the food was fantastic! We ate belacan kangkong, one pork meal and a crab. It was pricey but all of us was happily full. So we count the daily expenses and in the end I paid RM50, which was a discount of RM7, haha... I think SG too. Thanks Jimmy and WC~! ^^

Thought of yamcha but cancelled as we were late when we reached and we decided to go for breakfast the next day. So the next day we went out again, Sunday (yesterday). I drove to Jimmy's house and parked my car there then followed them to Jalan Ipoh for dim sum and pau. I like it very much but they said it was "ok" only... haha, looks like my taste buds are way different from them. Apart from last night's gang, YL and CM also joined. We ate will we were full, sharing our meals. In the end all need to pay RM12 per person... not bad. I was happy because I was able to taste my fav cha siew pau again! hahaha XD

Then we went to Kepong Jusco to watch Thor. Actually I already watched it for free with Daniel on Friday, but since all wanted to go then never mind, watch again la. Before that we went to shop for SG's sweater because she didn't bring it and will scare cold in the cinema later. Finally bought a purple sweater, then we went for Old Town Kopitiam for lunch and yamcha before the movie starts. Jimmy complained that we should went for Coffee bean, but I suspect he anti old town, haha... Coffee bean cannot eat la, ol' buddy~! :P

After a nice yamcha session, we went for the movie. Watching it a second time makes me understand the movie more. All of them enjoyed it. Then it was time to say goodbye, and we split. Jimmy sent SG back before going back and then I drove back home myself. A fabulous weekend, its a pity Daniel couldn't join because he was busy with exams and flew to Bali on Sunday.

One thing I learned from the trip is that SG went for a fortune teller and what she said influenced her a lot. Debbie, the fortune teller, tell her that she needs to find a bf from outstation and need to give birth now or risk giving birth when she is 40+ years old. Because of this she thinks of going to the sperm bank... wth!? She is a nice girl and I enjoyed hanging out with her, but I really think she should have more faith in herself and not believing entirely what Debbie said. She should have more confidence in herself... love will find its own way, no use rushing it. Whatever her decision is, I hope she will have a bright future with her love one... ~The End~

School reopen but busier than holidays!

Wed went out... Thursday also went out! Tired, pokai... but super fun and enjoyable!

Wed we went for karaoke at Sg Wang. MC suddenly pm me in FB and told me on that day itself... lucky my bro was back from school at that time else I would not have any transport to LRT. Alvin also didn't go, so I went even though LG and CK didn't (I tried to persuade them but failed).

Overall it was fun. The most shocking was when I heard MC sang for the first time... her voice was very nice... beautiful in fact! Except LG and WingC, her voice was the best I have heard before... for a girl. Really shocking since she's a really quiet girl in life, haha... Other than that nothing much happened. Somehow Kid is trying to be good with me, so I 'tried' to repay back the favor. But in the end he did not want to go back with MC and wanted to go for movies, leaving me to go back myself. I was a bit mad cause I waited so long so we could go back together but end up dumped alone. Oh well... couldn't blame them 100%, haha.

Then on Thursday night saw MC's post in FB, asking anyone if they want to join them for dinner at Genting Klang. I asked Daniel and he said ok, so we went there later at night. I thought it was supposed to be only 3-4 person there, suddenly a bunch of people also joined... making a total of 10-11 people, including us. Luckily there was enough seat for us in the end else Daniel sure no syok liao, lol... After dinner we play 'Police and killer' with poker cards. It was actually fun although a bit uncomfortable because we are sitting on a straight role due to the square tables. I became cop once but failed miserably, haha... (Why do people always think I'm the killer when I'm not? -_-'')

Hanging out with young people do make us feel young once again, haha... I can see that Daniel was enjoying it, and he's not a bad 'killer' too (maybe having small eyes is an advantage, kakaka). Then yamcha with David where we talk about old games, movies and 'stuffs'.

That's all... oh, Alvin and CK broke up, so did Kelvin and Jui Ning... Sad to see 2 couple apart after nearly a year being together but Alvin was totally not a good bf. He's very emo... and the reason they broke up was because he loves anime more than her. Really WTF!?! Had a long chat with CK on Wed night, but she doesn't seem sad about it. She's actually getting matured lately, totally the opposite of her labelled as 'emo' last time. Yes, good... you are a good girl, and you deserve a person way better than Alvin. Gogogo girl!

A sudden night movie

Last night I was suddenly invited by Daniel to join him yamcha with Eve, Gwen and Aaron in The Curve. Since there's a free ride and my holidays are going to be over... why not? So after parking the car, we went to meet Gwen and Aaron at a Laksa restaurant where they were having dinner.

After chatting for some time, we head over to the cinema to see if there is any good movies while waiting for Eve. When Eve arrived, we somehow are redirected for yamcha at Kim Gary. There, Eve was having dinner when another guest pop up. It was Ah Wai... and he say he saw me some where before, and vice versa for me. Maybe a long time ago in one of those KBox outings?

He also had his dinner there. After chit-chatting, we realized Daniel and Eve was the most 'siao' among us all, haha... Gwen can get a bit high too, although she was mostly 'quiet'. Then we head over to the cinema and watch 'Sorority Row' which starts at 12.10am. I was a bit 'shocked' by the loud noises from the sound effects in the cinema than the sudden killings. The Asian actress was hot too, haha...

After cinema we became 'bodyguards' and escorted Eve and Gwen to their cars. Gwen drives the same car as I do, haha... Then we head all the way back to our car and reached home around 3am. Although I was tired and slept around 4am (because of FB), I had a blast with the new 'gang'... But don't do it too often else I will really burn a hole in my pocket, haha :P

First love is the deepest...

Yesterday went out with a friend... to meet up with another friend for breakfast/ lunch. After chit chatting for a while, we head over to YL's house. She sounds happy when I said we wanted to go to her house, haha...

So at her house... I was happy, yet a bit awkward. Not every time do I spend time with her with so few ppl around. We chat a little and planned what to do in her 'so quiet' house. Finally with a little push, we were able to convince her to go out to 1 Utama. Else she would stay at home and watch HK drama series, haha...

At 1U, we thought of watching a movie but there was no suitable ones. So we had a scroll around 1U, then went to for some waffles as tea time/ dinner. Just the 3 of us still we had quite a lot to talk... which is good as long as she's happy and not bored at home. Finally the time for goodbye has come, as we company her to her sis which will take her home later. With a sad heart I say adieu...

Later came back and yamcha with Daniel, as David couldn't make it. We chat a lot on some love related stuffs... which in some weird way, I have the same philosophy as he do, lol... Being committed is not easy, although I wish I were in his shoes... sometimes. Like what most man will say 'Yau lui yan fan, mou lui yan yau hai fan'. Haha...

Later that night Dota with my friends and I told her today I was happy as I went out with my 8/9 year crush. He said I was very keng, but I said I was actually stupid... to cling on to something which will never happen, unable to let go. Then he said he respect me and then *tabib*... lol. A lovefool I am... am I not?

A sudden trip to Mid Valley

Yesterday I thought would stay at home like I normally do on a Sunday, suddenly when shopping in Jusco with my mom Daniel called, asking if I wanted to join him go Mid Valley. Since he coming back to fetch his bro home, can also fetch me... so I agreed!

Reached Mid Valley, wah... so many ppl flashing their DSLR at the models. Some memang super keng, the lens alone can cost a new expensive body! So gila until some brought their own mini ladder so can stand up and take pics clearly. Now I know how a real photographer looks like!

While taking photos, suddenly a very familiar face appeared. I didn't want to jump to conclusion yet, so I waited for the host to announce her name... I was right, it was my cousin, Felixia! Doing the catwalk with hundreds of camera pointing at her, I was so happy she is becoming a professional in modelling now.

To make it even more surprising, she won the competition! I was nearly in tears, cause she finally became a winner in a model event/competition...!!! Looking so elegant with the big bouquet of flowers in her hand, ppl keep taking pictures as she posed for the camera. We were lucky to be able to see her later backstage. She greeted me, and we even took photos together. Now her modelling career will go into greater heights... I'm so proud and happy for her!

Went for Animation Comic Game Convention (ACGC) after class yesterday. A bit tired cause only slept around 4 hours before that, but since they ask me go mai go lor... I also want see how special the festival is, haha. So after finished the tutorial, meet Fong, went to fetch Lian Gim at the TARC bus top and drove to Wangsa Maju LRT where we meet MC later.

Took LRT all the way to Kelana Jaya, then we took taxi to Tropicana City Mall. I should took the first taxi but then changed to the second taxi, which is a good thing cause me, LG and MC only paid RM6 for the fare while the other side need to pay RM10++ because the taxi driver got lost, haha...

A new Mall, the festival was actually not that large but still medium sized. Looking around, Danny's gang came later. Out of all the booths there, the Street Fighter 3D was the one that interested me the most as it was highly praised by gamers. Not that much different from other SF series but the graphic was a lot better. Saw a 'kou sau' there, with spiky hair...

After watching some cos-play and looking around the products there, we saw Left 4 Dead tournament there. Couldn't join as the registration was closed, too bad. Then headed back to the SF section where we could play for fun if we wanted too. I was surprised they were using arcade type joysticks to play, which I didn't touch for a long time. Still the urge to fight other players and try out the cool game made me hooked. I played a while and won all, then the spiky dude came and in my mind I thought 'Oh, here comes the pro!'. Can I win him? I doubt so...

He used Ryu, the most powerful and balanced char. I don't know what to use, so picked Vega which has good agility. After an intense fightout, I won! I was happy but my heart was pumping, hands shaking... too nervous liao. After winning, I stand up, wanted to leave cause hands was trembling but suddenly he stopped me and said 'Wait, winner stay!'... Omg, he wants another match!? I know I cannot deny him, so we fought a second match of SF.

This time its Ryu vs Guile... and my Guile lost, haha. Guile is too static to beat a balanced char like Ryu. So I finally can leave. I shaked hand with him, which is a nice thing to acknowledge each other's ability... we ended up draw, lol. Later I realised he was doing cos-play as Goku (and I thought he was a salesman there!) and even the judge for the-cos play event. Wow...!

The whole day walk here and there. I got so hungry finally went for lunch with Danny while they continue to watch the cos-play competition. Then they join us later. The Porkchop Macau Burger was ok, new taste... After dinner we went for a walk then return to the ACGC area.

Played another round of SF, this time Alvin, Danny and Robin also played. Lost to Robin once (accidentally cause handicap), haha... Then some challengers came in. Not as keng as 'Goku' but still competitive. Win all then shake hand with them, wahaha... then see nobody wants to challenge me liao, so I left the seat and let other ppl play. Hand still got a bit shaky after that but was worth it cause I like to challenge ppl in fighting games, hehe :P

Later planned to have dinner in One Utama and called Peggy to join us. Me, LG, MC, ALvin and CK went there by Danny's car while the others took the cab. Ate at KTZ, which was a bit more expensive than lunch. Burn a hole in my wallet when both lunch and dinner cost me nearly RM20... sakitnya! T_T After chatting and joking around, finally we went back. Some followed Danny while I followed Peggy (thanks Peggy!). We heard some funny 'sound effects' in the car, haha. Then took LRT all the way back to Wangsa Maju where I fetch all of them back by car.

Went out for 12 hours++, which was so fun and enjoyable. It was also MC's bday (eh, I forget to give her Choki-Choki as a present, haha!). Even made a new friend with CK's roommate 'Fong'... or something? Next time can yamcha with more kaki liao...! XD

P/S: Both LG and W was there, which doubled the fun. While we are going home LG again ask me those weird questions (now I know why I was hooked to her last time) like 'Eh, you understand and speak Mandarin? Very good, hehe...', 'Ooo... why you so good playing that game one?', 'What do you think of Wennie?' (this question I pretend didnt heard and when I ask her to repeat, she say nvm, haha!), 'You went for a diet? I see you're more thin now' and 'Did you cut your hair?' (I said no ah, long time already liao, why? then she said oh, nvm... just asking). Although I know she's just trying to be friendly, but asking those type of questions can be misleading, sigh... Nvm, I also won't put in any hope anymore, we will just be friends. But showing my skills in SF in front of them and they keep praising me made me feel a bit proud, haha... XD

PPS: There's a picture of me fighting with 'Goku', you just need to find where... haha :P

Super fun Ee Fan bday celebration!

Yesterday went to school as usual... a lot of ppl skipped the class because it was early, lasted for only an hour and no more class after that. After that I joined LG class, as usual... Maybe it's a ironic twist of fate that when LG presented her photos, teacher only chooses me, which is not her classmate (anymore) to comment about their photos (it's a group project). I just said I like the 3rd photo, and she explained it was taken from Bukit Tabur (yes, I already know that, thx for explaining, haha...). It was even so coincidental that she wore a green turtle neck shirt, with her necklace sticking out... while I wore my white turtle neck shirt, and my necklace sticking out. But no one noticed it except me :P Then she was gone, without a trace.....

So after class finished, we went for breakfast. Then Robin need to take care of something in the school, so I waited in the car. Heading Daniel's advice, I took a bold step and SMS her if she's going for the karaoke later. Surprised, she couldn't go, saying she need to be back around 4-5pm to go Genting, and afraid nobody will teman her back if she go. Knowing I couldn't offer to help, I just said next time then... and the SMS stopped there >.<

So with that out of my mind, we head towards Times Square. Me, ALvin and Danny went jalan2 while the others go karaoke (tattoo boy, Robin, Ee Fan and her boy fren, Ee Chun, Spiky hair boy, quiet boy, and the guy I hate, a Kit). Actually I also wanted to sing, but then it will be Alvin and Danny all alone... so I sacrificed a bit. Thought of shopping present for Ee Fan bday and LG's Christmas present, but could not find any suitable ones. Walked to Pavilion, Alvin belanja makan JCo Donuts, then walked to Sg Wang.

Soon they joined us, and we went to the arcade center. Danny went back, afraid of traffic jam. After playing some games, head towards Times Square. Me and Robin split back home there while the others continue jalan2. Reached home around 8.30pm, siao...! After eating dinner and bath, terus prepared to go out again. This time yamcha with the same gang at Feeling Cafe.

Besides Danny, everyone was there including Yee Chen, quiet girl, Wang Tien and Ee Chun's bf. It was crazy and wacky as there was a singer promoting her album there coincidentally, and she invited Ee Fan and A Kit up the stage (and 2 more bday boy). After teasing them a bit, they were each given a poster. Later they even went to take portrait shoot of her for assignment (backstage)! lol... The gang was fun and even communicate with the later 3 singers, making it a crazy place rather than the normal and calm Feeling Cafe. After that they brought a cake, which was a Secret Recipe cake. The bad thing is, they keep using the cake to smear ppl's faces... and I was hit one time by the naughty Ee Chun! It all soon ended around 1.30am. Then, they were playing pool, so I took my leave back home. A crazy and fun day, it feels good to be young again, haha... XD

P/S: It was actually also A Kit's bday, on 14th... kns, why so near!?

Went out with Sum for the first time

Friday cancelled lecture again. Sat was a busy day... Still sick from cough and sore-throat, I followed David, Daniel in Carrie's car to the Japanese class. I was still as blur as ever in class, and I'm getting more and more bored of it! Sure gonna flunk in the coming exam because I only understand 20% of what the teacher teached for the whole course. Japanese is really not my kind of tea! ><

After class went for lunch at Station 1 with them. Then Carrie send me to Ampang LRT, before the 3 of them left for PD. Wished I could go but was still sick and need to go for my mom's friend's open house. Kit and mom fetched me from Wangsa Maju LRT, bought some fruits for the friend, fetched SKY from his friend's house and away we go for the open house... but stucked in the traffic jam for 2 hours! ><

Just as I reached there, I saw 2 familiar shops. Having a closer look, it really was the famous Nyonya Curry Mee shop located near YL's house! What a coincidence that my mom's friend's house was near YL's house, in SS2 PJ. Inside, we ate various food which was quite ok (cause too spicy for me). As mom chat with her long time no see friend, we watched TV and then Jimmy called me for yamcha tonight, at Feeling Cafe in Wangsa Maju.

After 7pm ++, we left for Ampang's Tesco to do some shopping. Then I straight away waited for them at Feeling. Suddenly I feel like telling Sum about the yamcha, since he asked me to call him whenever we got one. He was in Wangsa Maju the time I smsed him, so he joined, with her gf. It went smoothly than I expected, strange...

Soon Sam, Jimmy, WingC, Yling and Cming came. We ordered drinks, chat, play Uno and Big2, etc... It was fun, since there were people singing live there too. So long since I saw YL, and I was like 'OMG' when I did! She looks older... although with a nice haircut. Maybe it's her face, or she's dead tired. Whatever it is, she's losing her 'spirit' last time, which is to make herself a better girl. Sad to see her like that...

Around 2am, we finally disbanded. Sum even offered to send me back in his new car. His new car is really stylish and modern looking, not to mention powerful! A Honda Civic I think. Since our friendship is slowly recovering, I think we can call him out for yamcha next time... provided he also drives! Haha.....

Saturday night fever

Yesterday should go KLCC at ten, but reached at 11am. Late because need to wait my family which is going over to my aunt's house. Anyway, went to the Gallery Petronas again. This time with a letter which permits us to take pictures to conduct our projects.

Inside, we took photo in a perspective way, which is from left to right, cannot front view. Why? That's the rule... maybe because they scare we copy and sell an artificial one outside. Saw another group there doing the same project like we are. Even taking a picture of yourself standing next to the picture is prohibited... strange.

After kaotim, take lrt and then taxi back home. Cut hair and sleep... then suddenly got a call from Jimmy to go yamcha at Steven Corner (Setapak) at night. So I agreed, since Daniel or Sam can fetch me and my mom went over to cousin's place.

Daniel was late, so Sam came and fetched me from my house along with YL, WingC and Jimmy. I showed the way to Steven Corner. After parking the car, Jimmy got the urge to go buy some 'fan pan' DVDs, so we followed. Poor David and Daniel then have to wait for us as we browse through the DVDs (movies).

Then sit in Steven corner, ordered some drinks and chit-chatted. After quite a long time, YL seems a bit 'tougher', maybe because she was wearing a jacket and she doesn't dye her hair anymore. Then I accidentally brought up the question if she took back her RM50 that she left with Sam last time. After taking back the money, she belanja us, haha... thx WingC!

Then we went for snooker, which is just beside the building, top floor. It was hilarious as all of us are noobs in snooker. But alas, I was the champion with 4 balls in, followed by Daniel, Sam, David (3 balls), Jimmy (2), WingC (1) and YL none. Just in the nick of time we finished our one hour duration, so we payed up and left (each paid RM1.50). Disbanded nearly at 1am because the next day got churches to go and we got another karaoke session at 11am. Can't wait...! XD

Celebrating Oon's bday

Last Sat went out with my fav group of TARC friends again. Daniel sent me to Sg Wang, where I then guide SG and Oon to Pavilion's Red Box karaoke. Daniel also going there but with his group of ex-colleagues. This Red Box was more 'classy' than the ones in Sg Wang or Lowyat, in which before we go in we were given hand tags as prove to enjoy the buffet dinner.

WingC and Jimmy was inside room 6, and the 2 of them have already started singing. I have no energy yet, so went straight for the buffet table to see what's in store. Although not many choices, still it was good enough. The good ones were fried rice, lamb, chicken, che cheong fan, cakes and a variety of tit-bits. There were also a potato and cashew nuts desert which taste ok. The other foods that I didn't eat were crabs, squid, crams (lala), pumpkin soup, mixed vege and salads.

The water was free flow too, and until 3pm (extended one hour from the other Red Box) I drank 2/3 sprites and 2 iced milo. No need to say, I ate until I nearly can't move anymore, and then sang some shouting songs like 'It's my life' and 'What I've done' to release the 'power' stored inside, lol. Not bad, and everyone was enjoying it too. Daniel just came and went back singing Chinese songs with his colleagues. We sang 50/50 Chinese and English songs that day, good!

After that we take a walk in Pavilion as it's my first time there as well as SG's. Not that huge as expected, and it's like a bigger KLCC only. Saw the fascinating fish spa which cost a whooping RM35 for half an hour. SG wanted to buy a new hp but didn't know which to buy. Soon she was brainwashed by Jimmy (and a little help from me) to buy the cool IPhone, which is still not officially launched in Malaysia. Over her real budget, she really wants to buy it... desperately, haha... Oon went to read some books, so we parted there.

Then we went to Wangsa Maju while Daniel still hangs around in Pavilion. Went to try the 'Ho Chiak' recommended flavored ice drink. When we wanted to choose which flavor, there were only 3 left among 12 or more choices. So fast finished!? I choose the soya+longan, which is quite nice and cost only RM2.50. WingC belanja us, hehe...

Then went to the park near old SP's house. It's now better, with no water puddles for mosquitoes to breed. As we sit around, we chat about all kind of stuffs (the best moment of the day). The topics was random, from SP, Oon, Daniel to CY, Sum and YL. Most of the topics was started by me to keep the conversation going, and it turned up pretty fun, with gossiping and 'secrets', hehe... Daniel joined later but he missed a lot, especially the part about him, haha...!

Around 7.15pm, Jimmy and WingC has to depart to Section 10 of Wangsa Maju to attend a wedding dinner from one of WingC's ex-colleagues. Me, Daniel and SG went to try out the newly opened HYK restaurant, which specialize in Prawn Mee. It was really expensive, especially in a student populated area like Desa Setapak. Still, since we was there for 3 hours, it was ok. Strange thing is there was no Gov tax and Service charge, although printed in the bill. Maybe it hasn't been implemented... or they thought we are students? XD

Then second round in BRJ, which WingC and Jimmy joined. Chat for another 3 hours (even David was in the conversation!) and we finally disbanded. Planned to go Genting this coming Sat, but Sunday is Father's Day, will the plan still go on? I hope so, cause there's nothing better than going out and enjoying with friends like them! :P

P/S: Mass Call TARC starts tomorrow... my heart is beating fast, I wonder why?

Went to buy mountain climbing equipments

Yesterday took LRT to Universiti, where Daniel then pick me up to go SS2 and meet CMing. The reason we go there is because he heard there's a shop selling mountain climbing equipments there, so we try to find it. First we have lunch, then we walk, not drive car, to find for the shop. I rarely went to SS2, but soon we were all dead tired from walking in the hot weather for so long, and STILL can't find the freaking shop. Daniel wanted to exercise mah, haha...

Man, SS2 really is huge! We walked for nearly 2 hours, and soon finally found another shop, which is not the shop we are looking for. The stuffs inside are really 'high'... in term of prices. We soon left and went to One Utama to gamble our luck, rather than 'dieing' in the hit for a shop that may not exist or closed...

Walking and walking, we finally found a shop selling travellers items. The gloves which were originally worth RM300++... but we found (lower in quality) only cost RM20. Didn't buy the other equipments because nearly ALL of them is expensive. No wonder they say mountain climbing kills (your wallet). Then we ate at a waffer shop, which is quite expensive but nice and appetizing. After that walk some more before going back home. Without girls, the day's trip was still nice, haha... XD

Today finally installed SDO-x, then wait a few hours before the webiste is fixed. Then I registered a new ID and started playing. It's an online dancing game... which features a lot of famous Chinese, English and Japanese songs. The avatars are in 3D and cute too. Playing for a few hours, I got the hang of it and became lvl 4. Heck, I even befriended a virtual girl friend, which is already lvl 13 and called Janice. She asked me 'Will I see you tomorrow?' before I left. Wow, virtual worlds really are... scary, and fun!

A rocking memorable Saturday

Last Sat seems like only me and David, as we start our journey for his Cleo Top 50 Most Eligible Bachelor 2008. He came at around 9am, and we went for breakfast first. The strange thing is he says he saw 'Honi' at the Whitetown Kopitiam (on the way to Batu Caves with the roles of restaurant on the left area). Honi? I only know Hanie, but aren't she working in her father opened pharmacy in Kemansah?

So we ate, and I nearly died from the access syrup I poured on my French Toast (cause David wants to take a pic with pouring honey). Then as we were heading for the van, I saw Fairuz... Isn't he Hanie's bf? So that means... yup, Hanie came later... and she still looks the same! I have not seen her after Secondary school, which is like 8-9 years now! It looks like she is working as a manager or supervisor there. Pity we can't chat long as David is late, so I said keep in touch as Fairuz already have my hp number last time, and left...

Reached The Curve nearly 10am, which is the time of gathering. Looks like they are having a short rehearsal for the stage intro. They only did it 2 times and we were allowed to come back later, one hour later. So we went jalan-jalan, read some books from Borders, then went back. Looks like they need to do make-up, training and stuffs for hours, so I went to Borders alone again after that.

Around 12pm, went back to see how was things going. David changed into a bachelor t-shirt like the rest and they still haven't started until an hour later. Then saw a familiar face walking... it was Edward! Another old buddy that I haven't seen in years, he came because Shalini told him about the news and she may even come later (but didn't). He also bought along his new gf, so they went for a walk before coming back later for the show.

Finally the show started, late. It was first the intro walk, followed by games. The host was Selina C and another funny dude, don't know his name. The first game was pumping, and David stand up before his name was announced... and the host straight went to him and asked 'David, why did you stand up?'. And he said 'Because I like doing push-ups!' and the crowd laughed... it was really funny but we are there to have fun, aren't we? XD

Then they were other hilarious games like:
a) drawing with a lipstick, using your mouth!
b) dress up your heroine, with random stuffs!
c) match the photos of different human parts with the correct guy
d) and the best: bollywood and pole dancing, done by guys! LOL

It was funny and entertaining, but towards the end only did suddenly Daniel and Angeline pop up. Daniel went for mountain climbing earlier and straight went to fetch her then came, that's why late. I heard Satkuru was there also but didn't see him. After the show ended, David and the other bachelors went into Starbucks Coffee for a light tea time but we are not allowed inside, except special people with bands are.

So we went to find for ATM machines before going for lunch. On the way, we saw Reuben, another dude that I haven't seen since Sec school! He was the smartest boy of our form. So since he's free, we went for lunch together and chat all the way about old times. He sound a bit bored and lonely since he moved to PJ. Most of his friends are either moved, busy working or just don't contact anymore (selfish). It's a pity he moved so far or else he could find us for yamcha anytime. He's still studying, part time working and I didn't asked about the rumours of his life. He is still the same old Reuben, except for his hairstyle, lol...

David joined us as we ate in IKEA, then we finally part ways. Reuben went back as he's tired, and we went for the pet store. After that went to popular bookshop. I was shocked to learned there that Angeline was actually... wanted to be an interior designer! Her dad objects as he says there was no future for interior designers in Malaysia (so is others!). Anyway, I was amazed how she browse through those books on house designs with love and curiosity. Another person I see that couldn't follow her dreams... sad.

Then we went for dinner at Murni, near SS2 PJ. Quite a famous mamak store, they serve a lot of good variety foods at a very large portion! When we arrived it was actually full too. Luckily we bumped into Angeline's friends, and we shared table. The food arrived a bit late because there were too many people, but it was worth it. I ordered Nasi Goreng Marylamb Chicken and a super big cup of orange juice, and it only costs RM16! Ok, it maybe a bit expensive... but if you see the portion, it is definitely worth it! My first time there, couldn't wait for the second... lol. I even ate David's potato wedges and some Mee Raja... nice! *burp*

Then send Angeline home (which is so near there), and took some photos. After that David went back himself and I followed Daniel to find Chong Ming for second round of yamcha, omg! But it was still fun and we left an hour ++ later. Reached home around 2.30am, and everyone was already asleep. On SO and Angeline still reading mangas on her com at that time, swt! The whole day I went out for 17 hours straight, and was dead tired for the next two days... x_x

A sudden outing

Yesterday night played DOTA with Jimmy until 12am. When I closed Warcraft, I saw Daniel's MSN message. He asked if I wanted to join him go mountain climbing tomorrow morning. I was shocked! Why? First reason, he just recovered from fever, and want to go mountain climbing tomorrow?!? Second, why so late only decide... cause I just agreed to my mom that I will bring her for breakfast tomorrow morning (can't call my bro cause he went out until the wee hours of the night).

So, I have to decline, although YL and her sis is going too. Luckily Daniel's bro joined, else I scared if he fainted, how do the 2 girls bring him down from up there? Lol...

As planned, this morning I become the driver, sending mom and my 2 bros here and there. After that, I was just in time to park in front of Daniel's house before he reached 1 minute later. They all look so 'pucat' and like going to drop dead anytime, except Kevin, from the mountain climbing. We went inside Daniel's house for a while before straight going out for lunch.

We ate at Wangsa Maju, somewhere in the newly developed areas with new restaurants. All of us ate except Daniel and Andrew. Looks like Daniel is still sick and don't have the appetite or energy to eat, just drank a cup of fruit juice. So after I showed the way for YL and her sis to go back, through the Cheras road (which is jammed all the way here!), I sent them home. Daniel missed his 'appointment' and even left his hp in my car, so I have to drive all the way back to return it to him.

Overall it was a an OK day. Although I was able to see her, I already told myself to stop dreaming and just treat the day as a normal friends outing. I shall start anew and forget the painful past. Although I missed the trip up the hills, it was substituted with me walking up 12 floors again (damn lift!). Still, all is better than just staying at home...! XD

Went to Ylin house for 'pai lin'

A taste of lamb from her is more delicious than the juiciest meat in the world... XD

Yesterday, after days of planning, went to Ylin house to visit her for CNY and see her new born baby. It should be done on Sunday but suddenly changed to Sat because she's busy that day. At first wanted to go Taman Bahagia for lunch (Jimmy wants to eat a very very delicious chicken rice) but Daniel says it's too far, and we would be going in a triangle (Tmn Melawati to Tmn Bahagia then back to Puchong), so we decided to eat at Wangsa Maju only.

After lunch, he took a haircut and then we're off to YLin's house. We were a bit late but finally found them. Already there was YLing, Sam, Jimmy, WingC, Oon and SGeng. We reached there around 2.45pm and hang out until 6pm++. Play mahjong that YLing brought, and poker cards. At first lost money on blackjacks, but then won back some on 'In between'. It was fun and adrenaline pumping when we play 'In between', haha. YLin's first son was also more 'smarter' now. Those few hours there was really full of laughter and memorable...

After that went to eat at a restaurant called 'The Waterlily Cafe' near IOI mall, but on the other side of the road. Most of the food there was grilled, but it was nice and delicious. A bit expensive but expected. Here are the food we ordered:

Me and Oon: Bali's Fish
Sam and WingC: Nasi Lemak BBQ Chicken
Daniel: Chicken + Beef combo
SGeng: Fish and Squid combo
Yling: Bali's Lamb
Jimmy: Bali's Beef

Overall I must say 'I should have sticked to the lamb in the first place!'. The fish was so small... lucky I was finally satisfied in the end. The lamb was nice and huge portion, why did I changed my mind!?

After that we went to 'Ngau Cheh Sui', I don't know what's it called in English. It's a nice open area in Damansara, but quite hidden that's why even Daniel don't know where it is. A nice place to take pictures, we had a blast there. (For more pics, head over to Daniel's blog!) There's a lot of restaurants, shops and stalls... definitely something for everyone. We didn't finished walking the whole place and left as it was getting late (near 12am liao!). The place closes at 12am.

We bid adieu and head home. I follow Daniel, SG follow Jimmy and WingC while Oon and Yling followed Sam. It was definitely a day to remember, how I wished we could do it more often!

Went for SO gathering number 2

Yesterday went out to SO gathering, the second one I attended. The first was sometime, last year... Anyway, Daniel told me there was 10-20 ppl going, so I was like 'Omg, that many!?', but when we reached and went into the karaoke room... there was only 5! I asked Aaron 'Where's the others?' and he replied 'I only booked for an 8 person room'. Then I said 'Oh... okay.....' Cis, kena tipu by Daniel again!

But still, we enjoyed every moment of it. Actually not that many people better, so we can get turns to sing faster. I was shocked that there was quite a number of 'better singers' than Daniel (dulu called karaoke king, lol)... They not only sang good English songs, even Malay, Mandarin AND Hokkien! My eyes nearly pop up... sooooooo old songs still got people sing!? Totally amazed, all I could do was watch and listen to their beautiful melodies... It makes me feel like I'm in the old times, which is nice!

After jalan2 a bit, went to eat again, at some restaurant. Most of the food are like 'Fried rice, Curry Laksa' to 'Spaghetti, Fish and Chips'... nothing much new or exciting. The drinks are a bit more 'fresh' look than the meals. Overall, ok quality, ok priced...

Then they went for 'photography' session, which I didn't join. They were jumping and taking shots, and that's right after eating? Wow... I cannot! Soon we were 'halau' by one security guard, saying 'No taking pictures here, sorry'. Oh well! After that we split and went back home, tired and exhausted.

P/S: I was suprised people actually tried to read my 'Hebrew' text below... It was meant 'no to be read', but if you insist... read at your own risk! (I tried, headache struck very fast, beware!)

The weekends, learn to make siu yuk

Last Sat did nothing much, cause my bro was having his last exam so I need to fetch him and my mom went to stayover at her friend's house on Friday, so also need to fetch her. Yet, in the end Daniel called after the party and asked if wanted to go DOTA. Since my bro finished his last exam, we all go. Me and Daniel pawned my bro, David and his bro... wohoo! Next time need to chg team liao, my bro complaining not fair... lol.

Sun would have seem like another day but suddenly while I was Dotaing, Daniel called and said his mom invite me to go to the the church for a mooncake celebration. Since I so free, why not? But I told him need to be a little late cause need to fetch my mom then tapau dinner for them first. In the end, we reach his church at seven, but the event started at six! :P

Anyway, 20 minutes later we started to eat dinner there. It was buffet style as the church ordered some catering. There was also food donated by some kind hearted church members. Overall, the food was nice... and there was free mooncakes too! I didn't eat any as my mom has been taking back mooncakes from Genting (change with points) and I kind of gotten sick of it.

But the best thing I learned from there was the 'show', where a woman showed us the procedures to make... Siu Yuk! (baked pork) I must say, the procedures was not that easy... and to make a perfect siu yuk, you need to put it in the fridge for 3 days! The reason is to make it really dried, and a dry crunchy siu yuk is a very nice siu yuk...! XD

But with so many adults there, it seem like me and another guy is the only 2 teenager interested in the whole demonstration! Daniel and his bro was busy playing with tanglungs outside (while taking pics)... o.O It was a nice night, thanks again to Daniel and his mom for inviting me! ^^

The weekends

On Sat send my mom to LRT, where she will be going with a group of friends to Genting... no, not to gamble, but to exchange Genting Points with a box of mooncakes! Lol, sounds weird right? But because a group of them went together, it's more 'worth' it. After that only they go gamble... XD

But luck was on my mom's side, and she won some money! So we fetch her from LRT (she took the cable home) and we went for dinner, McD and KFC! We seldom eat those, so eating both as dinner is considered a delicacy... :P

Sunday went out with Angeline, Fire, Daniel and David (with his bro and sis tagged along). Went to Times Square at 2pm, David drive. Reached there and the 3 of them just finished lunch. So we went jalan2 around Times Square... Wow, first time I really 'walk' around Times Square, so tiring! One in a million (the tv program) was held there, and we can see some of the contestant outside. Fire told me Miriam Counter was there... but she don't look like 'her' at all!

After that went to eat ice-cream and took some photos. Then Fire have to go back for dinner. So we headed for Wangsa Maju to have dinner. Only David and Angeline can't finish their dinner, haha... Then Angeline took the LRT back, while we headed for CC and played DOTA. It was a one-one draw, and everybody was happy... lol. A happy but tiring day, Angeline was the life of the group... XD

Yesterday outing

Luckily the plan went on, but unfortunately it was raining last night. We meet Beve, Joyce and Benjamin near Wangsa Maju LRT, then after they parked the car, we went to sit beneath the LRT (where the hawker stalls are). To be honest, if the rain wasn't raining that heavily, it was quite romantic eating beneath the LRT with the sound and sight of drippping rain... XD

Anyway, the 3 of them ate the nice CKT while I and Daniel ate Jawa mee. I thought of calling CKT too but because I scared the cook won't remember each of their CKT specifications, I didn't. Unfortunately, Benjamin and Joyce was having a hard time eating their CKT because it was too spicy (wow, Beve really can stand up to spiciness!). Now you know why I don't call spicy foods, lol... ^^;

We chat, but most of the time it was about blogging. Beve and me was 'senyap' most of the time, luckily got the other 3 to become 'icebreakers', lol. But it was still enjoyable and fun hanging out with them. XD

Some of the funny phrases I remember was:
'Stop blogging! Most of the people who blogs have no life! Quit... before you become like me!' ^^;
"You are lucky... most of the time we go out, we are 'forced' to pay for the food. Wait... you 2 are the only ones who don't 'kena'!" XD
'You sure you are 25? I thought you were 21!' (this year I'm still 24, wei...!) lol

Is it because we look younger, or man usually look younger than their age in general? But I see girls usually look their age one wor... so man considered lucky, or not? o.O Anyway, Happy Birthday to Joyce who will be celebrating his bday today! ~Cheers!~

It's her birthday, again

So today is 'her' birthday. The old me will be thrilled. It's like one of the most important date of the year, as important as ...
