Yesterday went to friend's house to do Color Studies assignment. Those who went to Nicholas house were me, Shiang Teng, Kai Teck and Kah Heng. Went around 2pm++ until 5pm++. Wow, MU was a very nice place! New, got a nice swimming pool with two lion head shooting water out of their mouth into the pool... very nice place indeed.
Can't finish... but then Shiang Teng offer to take it back home and finish some of it alone, for us! Shocked to see there are still some people who is so hardworking, haha... We will continue later what she left for us.
Tired day... good also, since busy will keep my mind off things :P

Nearly DIED... first try on mountain climbing
Yesterday really 'loh mheng'... I did suggested to LG to go up a hill call Bukit Tabur on my bday, but didn't know she took it seriously. It was for the landscape photography assignment. So since I SUGGESTED it, I need to see it to the end. She smsed me on Sunday, asking if the mountain climbing still on. After sms-ing here n there, confirmed ON... So after lecture at 4pm on Monday, we head towards there after fetching Daniel's bro as a 'mountain guide'...
I thought there were stairs up the hill... mana tau 100% JUNGLE and ROCKS!!! Gila babi susah!!! In 15 minute of climbing, I was already sweating like a pig... non-stop! Huffing, puffing... I know it was a bad idea to do it because of HER! I totally forgot I am not fit for mountain climbing + my ibu kaki still pain + I forget to bring water!!!
I finally bite the dust when I climbed the 75 degree slope of the mountain, full of rocks. It took all my remaining energy away... and to make it worse, as I was climbing up, I was chatting with my friend as I thought LG and Robin was far ahead. As I huff and puff, I said 'If... it's not... because of... her... then..... I would... not have... come!'. Then I looked at the top and there she was, LG, Andrew and Robin... sitting on the rocks looking at us. Totally shocked and dead tired, I asked 'Oh Shi~ Did you all heard what we were talking just now?!?' And LG replied sinisterly 'Hehehe, yala...!'. I thought of dying right that instant...!!! X(
Somehow I managed to out-live that part. As I sit on the rocks, looking down on the beautiful view and LG sitting somewhere behind me, I feel happy and relaxed, although still sweating non-stop. Soon I feel a bit of headache and nauseous, nearly think of puking too. But I shall not show my weakness, I stick it all up inside like a man... and slowly, slowly recovered. Then I told them I could not go up anymore, luckily Danny and Alvin agreed! Robin went up ahead then came back down, while I drank some of my friends water to recover myself from the headache...
We went down the same way we go up. Andrew say we have only reached 25% of the whole trip to the top... WTF!? As we head down, we took some group photos to commemorate our trip there. My whole body was really shaking and nearly fully-depleted of any energy as I go down... but LG was my 'power' to move on (and water), haha. We finally survived HELL and went back home after that. Slept at 10pm, dead tired!!
I hope she appreciate what I have done for her, for that maybe the LAST time I'm going up that freaking hill!!! >.<;

At last, a tiny bit not so busy...
Finally after Friday, 4 pm, I was able to breath a little bit more. All the mid term exams are done. All the assignments are done (left one, but dont care la!). Of course more assignments are coming in, but that's another story.
Yesterday went to Galeri Petronas, an art gallery in KLCC. I didn't know such place existed until the teacher wanted us to go there for an assignment. It's located on the 4th floor, and the place wasn't really that huge as expected. But there is no entrance fee though...
The first 3 big pictures I saw was 3 photos of Indian guys with different body positions. But then they told me it wasn't pictures, I looked closer... and I was shocked that it was drawn using charcoal!! OmG, the texture, shading and even fine details of the 'bulu' was so detailed, nobosy knew it wasn't a photo until observed carefully...! Really keng!
Since we cannot take photos, we can only observe the paintings/drawings and then jot down(opinions) on a piece of paper. It was a new experience, since I rarely go for art galleries. We even got a free poster (after filling in a suggestion form). After that went for KFC and went back home, where I fetched Daniel for yamcha and chatted for a few hours.
Talked about how the girl asked me why I dont chat with her in Cantonese... and she asked me if I want to learn Mandarin. Such awkward questions, I did have some trouble on finding the right answers, haha. But she asking those questions was really weird in the first place... or is it? Argh, I donno... somehow I like and hate these... stuffs, donno why. Love is so complicated!

Cleo Top 50 Most Eligible Bachelor 2008 at Zouk, KL (part 2)
After the show, people starts to dissasemble the stage, allowing people room to rock on the dance floor. David came soon with his bro while his other family members went back home. While we 'lepak' on the table, David tries to talk with a 'leng lui', and succeeded! But I heard it's a normal thing in clubs *smack head for being a noob*. Anyway, we introduce ourselves and David tries to 'communicate' with girls the whole time, while shaking his... shoulders. I only sit and dance (in my mind) with the beat while studying how a club looks like when everyone is getting it 'on'. I was embaressed when one of the girls asked me why I didn't dance, and I told her 'It's my first time here' and she said 'Oh...'. Lame, I know, haha!
Later Wei Ing and Ah Ching came, talk with David a bit and dance. They soon planned to go 'yamcha', so I tagged along. Didn't noticed that their version of 'yamcha' is actually going to another club! I was shocked... don't we need to pay to go into another club!? Then another shocker hits me, we were allowed in for... free! Looks like Wei Ing knows the owner, thus allowing free entrance. Does that mean she's a 'party animal'? Maybe...
It was another classy club, with loud music and people drinking alcohol, puffing smokes and shaking their bum bums. We soon go for the outdoor area, where there's sit and tables but no one's there (expected, cause who goes out if they wants to party?). We chat a bit and soon, it was only me and David's bro sitting alone there while the others partying inside. I heard David was dancing 'stiff-ly', thus Wei Ing unbutton his shirt to 'relax' him a bit. Lol, must be 'new' for him! Also he saw Ah Ching kissed Wei Ing... then I was dead sure, she was totally not the Wei Ing I knew 10 years ago.
Around 2am we finally left... and they thouht of going to another club, again! But I told David let's call it a day, and we leave for home. Overall I must say it's a good and wild experience for me... but I don't think this is the lifestyle I want to grow up in... Call me soft, I don't care! XD ~Cheers~

Went for TARC Open Day 2008
Today when I woke up, mom said 'Let's go to TARC now!'. I was surprised and said 'Huh? This early...?!?'. It's a Sunday morning, semangat betul my mom XD
So went to TARC at 11am. Thought of eating breakfast in the canteen, but it is closed! I was getting a bit grumpy, missing my breakfast. Luckily after I parked my car, there's 2 van distributing free drinks in front of the main hall where they hold the Open Day. It was cold Vico and cold 'tongkat ali brand' chocolate drink. Of course I choose Vico, so I drank 3 cup of it as my breakfast. Ahh... I'm ready for the day!
Went inside, there were people giving a set of papers+a calendar+1 pen. I took one set, and proceed into the hall. There were quite a lot of people (not as much as PC fair, luckily). The hall was big and looks well maintained (quite new too). I was happy to see so many new students asking the TARC staffs for information. It's as though I'm a new student there, again (fresh feeling), haha...
My main destination is the School of Social Science and Humanities. But for my mom and bro, it was the doctor's booth (where they offer free check ups). Looking curiously, I saw some of the first year's student works. I was really amazed at some of the pictures. They Jay Chow's colored posters is so detailed, it's as though I'm looking at a color-printed picture. The black and white drawings were so wonderfully drawn, I can imagine it taking me a year just to finish it! Amazing, really...
Then we enrolled for the 'Tour around the college' ride. It was fun and informative... I went to some places I have never seen before (newly constructed) and TARC was waaaay better (in a lot of terms) than a few years before, when I studied there. The best tour was the new 'kitchen'. It's the place to teach the food service students how to cook and stuffs. It's new, and the kitchen is fully equipped with cooking and cleaning utensils. We even have a free taste of a pudding (nice!) and chocolate cookie (a bit hard). I heard that students can dine the food prepared by other students there too (standard priced!).
The computer lab is also now using flat screens (last time, old CRT monitors!) and the library even have group discussion rooms (with air-cond). I was really glad the old TARC image in my mind is now substitute with a new, high-tech and neat college. And it's still very affordable too! XD
P/S: The PTPTN people even asked me 'This year are you 18 years old yet?'. I was so happy! LOL

How I spent my leap year day, 29th February 2008
WARNING: SUPER LONG POST AHEAD! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Yesterday was a leap day (or whatever it is called). I didn't really know it until I received an sms from WingC, asking if I want to go PJ for yamcha. I was at first shocked why she would suddenly asked me out so far, on a Friday night. Feeling bored at home, I called Daniel. He said he would go too (that takes care for my transportation home, hehe). So I feeling 'hyped', I called Jimmy and he said we are going out to celebrate the leap year day, and 'she' is going too (as I expected). Soooo.... let's bogey!
Asked my bro to send me to the LRT, and from Wangsa Maju I took the LRT allllll the way to Tmn Bahagia (which is nearly from one end to the other). It was so bored standing alone in the LRT with so many ppl, for 50 min! Arrived 7 min late, Jimmy was waiting at Tmn Bhg... and it was raining. So quickly drive to WingC house, say hi to her mom, and fetched her to go to the destination for dinner. Daniel was already there.
Reached the place... forgot the place name liao. It's nearby WingC place. It was raining freaking heavily, so when we finally found a parking space (which strangely was just next to Daniel's car!), took the umbrella and walk there. I was shocked as the place we are going to eat was actually open air! Thus, as it was raining heavily, means no place to sit! Found Daniel sitting alone, we find for a better sit in the heavy rain. Finally I found one, but not without making my shoes 70% absorbed in water and my shirt 30% wet.
After we sit for around 10 min, YLing and CMing came. She was actually in front of us but can't see us because of the heavy rain, lol (only saw after I waved). Sitting there, we realised WingC and CMing already took dinner. So I went to survey the huge variety of food there with YL. Finally YL ordered 'Lou She Fan Shark Fin Soup'. Wow, first time seen before... it wasn't very expensive and taste ok too (but fake shark fin la, of course lol). I was feeling 'happy', so called some Sushi and then a French Loaf. The Sushi is for all to eat, while I ate the French Loaf alone.
Jimmy ordered some kind of big Wanton soup mee, while Daniel ordered the most exp, which is Ikan Bakar and Oyster Omelette. Mine total around RM10, but his total RM22, wahlao...! Anyway, he was kind enough to let us all taste some too (but I don't eat Oyster Omelette's, yuck!). CMing saw me ordered French Toast and ordered one for himself too. YL ordered a big jug of fruit drink, which is a far better deal than the medium ones we ordered (I thought mine was already large!). Then later I ordered another dish of 'Loh Bak Go' for myself as I was not full.
As we drink and eat, we discussed about the plans to go out on March (Penang). Unfortunately it was cancelled because not enough cars to go (only Jimmy's). Then we planned to go other places like Genting, Ipoh and Malacca, but all was still blurry and indecisive...
Then we decided to have a second round at Souled Out, near Damansara/ Sri Hartamas area. As expected, the place was really 'happening' and nice, with loud and nice musics, LCD TVs and a dark room with some disco lights. The 4 of them drank a jug of Heinekan beer, while I drank Ice Coffee Latte (with Haagen Diaz ice-cream inside, very nice!) and WingC a cup of Hot Choc. Only YL drank 2 cup of beer, but she was not drunk. Else I MAY have tried to tell her..... something, haha. Also ordered one plate of F/Fries + Onion Fries. SO totalled (Rm50+RM15+RM7+RM8)+15% tax = RM92! Once in a life time, nvm la...
Suddenly, forgot from who's idea, we decided to go Genting... right then, right now! They were all feeling hyped, so I decided to follow (although I dislike to go Genting by car due to car sickness). YL also thought of not joining, but as Jimmy said, if we made the initiative, she will follow, and so she did. She thought of not going because she was sleepy and her clothing was not so appropriate (a t-shirt, a long pants and wearing sandals).
So, feeling crazy, we head over to Jimmy's house to stock up on sweaters and jackets for the Genting trip. CMing also parked his car there, cause afraid his car cannot 'stand' going up Genting. He followed Daniel's car, while YL followed Jimmy, we finally head for Genting on the wee hours of the night... around 2am. This is the first crazy stunt for both me and Daniel... maybe the others too. Looks like we are still 'young' hearted, LOL!
Sitting at the back seat, I can feel the 'pain' in my head and ear drums as we head higher and higher towards Genting. But it was ease a bit by talking to them and some YL subject even pop up, haha... After we park our car, we finally step out of the car and then.... grrrr, so COLD! Walao, either I'm old or long time no go Genting liao, I didn't remember feeling THIS cold last time! I think cause it's too late...
Enduring the freaking coldness, we find our way towards the lobby of the Genting Hotel and waited for Jimmy, WingC and YL. After they came, we again need to go high and low, up and down, cold and MORE cold, to finally find our way to the only 'mamak' restaurant in Genting, hidden in a car park. I ordered a nasi lemak (RM3.00!) and a Hot Milo (forgot to pay CMing back). We rested a while there, before continuing our 'gila' expedition...
Next, we head over to the casino (around 2-3am). It was Daniel's and YL's first time there (I already went in when I was 17, hehe). After watching people play, Jimmy finally decided to play. Soon, I joined in the fun too. So the 3 of us play the roll-3-dice table, and Yl, CMing with Daniel decided to have a scroll outside the casino. I wanted to join, but I was busy trying to win back my RM50, lol...
All the bets I did, it turned out wrong... From 10 RM5 tokens, I was only left with 3, and Jimmy with WingC only left 1. We decided to make it our last bet, so I picked my 3 fav numbers, 6, 7 and 8 while they choose 7 or 8, I forgot. They opened the lid, and BINGO! I won my FIRST bet! It turned up to be a total of 6, so one of my bet striked. With a 1x18 for the number 6, my RM5 multipled by 18, so I won RM90! I gave 3 Rm5 tokens to Jimmy them cause I was happy I won, thus in the end after minus my capital of RM50, I won Rm30! Woohoo!! Unfortunately I think Jimmy with WingC lost Rm50++...
After that we waited for the others outside of the casino. Before I was able to break the good news, CMing told us he lost his wallet! Wth!? He thinks he lost it when sitting on the chair, so we quickly headed there. As expected, it wasn't there (it was one of the chairs at the the main hotel lobby! so many ppl move around there, I wouldn't expect to find it too). So I told CMing it's either stolen, or MAYBE the hotel ppl found it, and I asked him to enquire from the reception counter.
In my mind, I thought 'I think it's a goner liao by now... it would be REALLY lucky if the hotel ppl found it). Then it turns out, one of the policewoman found it! Wow, 2 lucky incidents in a roll! After doing some procedures, CMing took back his wallet and thanked them. It was an experience to remember, haha... We then head back to the cars and decided to head back to Jimmy's house for breakfast (we left the casino around 7am, lol)...
On the way down, it was totally HELL for me...! Daniel was driving fast down the hill, thus making me the person behind being 'thrown' left and right in the car. For a carsick person like me, it was really PAINFUL!! My head feels like it's going to explode any minute, my stomach makes me wanna puke any second, I totally want to DIE then. But I forced myself to endure the 30 min ride, so I didn't tell Daniel. I even need to lay down at the back sit, or I would have puked in the car at the moment... Please, no more HELL ride for me!!!
After we reached the bottom just after the toll, Daniel stopped his car to wait for Jimmy's car which is quite far behind. He switched off his car and I tried to relax myself as my head is still ringing and banging itself, non-stop. It got a bit better, then Jimmy called saying his car was already in front, waiting (we were all sleeping). So Daniel starts his car...
Then, another shocker came... Daniel couldn't start his car! Looks like his car's too old or the weather's too cold (it's still raining), his car just couldn't be started. So, Jimmy drove his car nearer to jump-start his car. It was quite dangerous as it was raining then. So, me and CMing protected the batteries from the rain with the umbrellas, and in the end sucessfully jump-started Daniel's car. Another good luck and 'victory', hoorah!
As my head is still ringing, we told Jimmy we need to head back home, so we parted there. Daniel also need to fins his 'kai mui' later in the afternoon. CMing followed Jimmy's car back, while we head home (which is SO nearby). Finally I reached home, but at that time, mom was just about to leave the house with my youngest bro. Mom going 'up' while bro going to drive to work. I watched the few last episodes of Heroes, then slept to 'cool down'. Needless to say, I spent most of the day sleeping, haha... At the end of the day, mom won RM2200++! FuYoh!! 4 happiness today, So Cool!!! A truly exciting, lucky, fun and happy memorial leap day indeed, haha...
Today was a happy day... YL appearing today is one of the 'motivation' for me to travel so far to Tmn Bhg. I was finally 'repaid' when YL sat so close next to me in SO. I tried to act cool and not 'dodging' her as she's so NEAR to my skin... guess I was being paranoia, lol! If she was a bit more drunk, I would have asked her some private questions. She will never be easily drunk, haha. All the moments sitting next to her really made me happy (she sit next to me in mamak Genting too! :P). In Genting, I was also happy when she used me as a cover from the rain by walking behind me, haha. But I know, all these happiness are one-sided. I will never 'have' her, and I hope CMing will try harder to woo her too. From this blinded lovefool, I wished you all the best in the future, YL. Cheers...

Cheers...

Fixing Lisa's com
Yesterday went to Lowyat to fix Lisa's com. Her com was bought at the same time with my first new PC, which was around 1 and a half year ago. Don't know either if PC Zone stuffs are ciplak, or they play too much com... until the graphic card rosak liao. Lucky I bought mine from C-Zone. Anyway, his RM700++ graphic card rosak, and the ppl in PC Zone told him to buy a new one cause the warranty only last for one year... bummer!
So he took back his pc from the repairing shop and went to My PC, another PC shop that he bought the second com from. They went a complete check on his PC and in the end discovered that really the graphic card spoilt. But the difference with this shop is they said they can try change it for a new one from the dealer, for Rm30-Rm50 service charge. They said the 1st year warranty is with the factory, while the 2nd year is with the distributer. Why the last shop didn't do this? Either they were lazy to earn a measly buck, or they prefer the customers to buy a new graphic card rather than exchange the broken one with the distributer... kns!
The new GC is worth RM395, but with only Rm15 as service charge. PC Zone charges RM50 as service charge (to change in the GC)!! o.O; Some more they help him to service the motherboard fan. We can see that the temperature fell from 60*C to 30*C... incredible! Overall, I must say that those inside PC shops are sometimes far better than the normal PC shops that we 'thought' is cheap and nice. Maybe because of some publicity or gimmick, we all thought that the cheapest and most visited PC shop is the best... when it is really more expensive.
You only thought it is cheapest because you only compared it to the 'bigger' PC shops, not the smaller and more hidden ones. To prove that it is cheaper, I took it's price list and C-Zone (another famous PC shop which I bought my 1st PC from)... For one LCD monitor Samsung 17", My PC price RM593, C-Zone price RM620! So my new LCD monitor sure buy from there liao...! XD
So beware... what seems obvious is not always the real thing. Adios~!
