Jimmy's house for CNY

Last Fri, which was a holiday (Awal Muharram I think), we went to Jimmy's house for 'pai lin'. Mr Daniel no car, so for the first time I fetched him to Kepong in my Waja, lol. I could because it's near my aunt's house.

Around 3.30pm arrived, inside was only Jimmy, WingC, SG and her bf. It was lesser than I thought. YL wasn't there but I know she won't come since CM went back hometown and she won't drive alone to Jimmy's house. But it's no big deal, since being with my friends was the main purpose, not with her, haha...

Watch some movie and played some cards. No money was involved since nobody wanted to play (only me, Jimmy and WingC). Later Mr KH came, which was a surprise. Throughout the whole day he only teased me a bit, which was waaaaaaay better than what he did last time. An improvement, very good. If he continues on like this then maybe our friendship can be recovered like last time, before he started shooting me blindly on my blog. I never wanted war in the first place...

After watching the last movie 'Saw 5', which was extremely gruesome... and funny, we planned where to have our dinner. Since SG's bf is a vegetarian, they decided to go to a vegetarian shop way far, in Cheras area. KH offered to drive us there if I can't drive that far, but then it would be a hassle if he will send us all the way back after dinner. So I said I can drive if Daniel know the way, and drive to Cheras I did (without asking my parents for permission 1st, haha). But later I told my parents too and they were ok.

The food was not bad... especially the taufu bakar (very nice!). Daniel didn't complain much too, even though he dislikes vegetarian stuffs very much, haha. Then for a second round, we decided to go fetch Oon and went for yamcha. Yamcha at Momo, the place we used to go with David and Jane for yamcha last time. It was renovated and somehow too bright for me. The yamcha didn't last long since Jimmy need to send WingC back, but it was still enjoyable.

Sat went for relative gathering at eldest aunt house. Seremban relative also came over, and we had some conversations between cousins. We even add each other in Facebook. Another reason FB is a MUST in this life, lol. Had our first 'yee sang' (home made) and a lot of nice food to be shared among ourselves. The best times come when family reunions like these appears.

Yesterday and today feeling a bit sick, sore throat... sneezing and running nose. Some more this weekend have to go Johor liao, have to get well asap! Being the director and group leader, a heavy responsibility is on my shoulders. How I wish I have a gf now to cheer me on, in these times of hardship... ><

A CNY gathering in YL's house

Yesterday was a fun day... at least most of it. Supposed to go to Yling's house at 2 but got delayed because she went out, thus postponing it to 3.30pm. After sending my bro and parked the car at Wangsa Maju, Daniel fetched me to YL's house. Even before stepping into her house I called her, just to hear her voice (and to confirm is she at home), although we are just a few steps to her front door, haha... XD

Reached there, only YL, her 2 sis and Oon was there. Jimmy and WingC will be late an hour. So we started to look at vacation pictures of YL going to Cambodia and stuffs. I would be more interested if it were only pictures of her, but most of it was boring snapshots of other stuffs. Yawn...!

Then WingC and Jimmy came. Soon we 'open table' and started gambling on the floor, starting with Blackjack and then In Betweeen. With the power of the golden elephant (YL's vacation souvenir to me, hehe), I won RM5++ that day. Guess it's true that people with no luck in love has better luck on the gambling table... >.<'' Then Daniel went to Summit to meet David to buy some Magic cards. YL also followed to buy some Mahjong paper. Although I wanted to follow them very much, I decided to stay and accompany them play some poker cards some more (else it would 'disband' due to less players). But soon, Jimmy and WingC also left as they need to go for a family dinner. Soon David and YL came, and we played a couple rounds of cards (no money involved this time) and then left as I am late for the FYP meeting.

Thanks to David I wasn't that late. I speed towards GK and reached Station One around half an hour late I think. All was there liao, and me being the leader was late... paiseh! >< So we discuss and discuss about the FYP... and in the end decided to do documentary. I wasn't sure if it would really work, but I hope it does, since it's quite an interesting documentary too!

So I sent LG home... at first it was because I need to fetch my bro from Wangsa too, but then he say he will go back by his own. I could have told Laihar so she will send LG back again, but... nvm. I sent her back and even walk her until the front door of her house, but it somehow feels... not that 'heart pumping' anymore. It feels more like a 'routine' than a 'I want to see her till the end' kind of thingy. Is it a sign that I am finally letting go of these feelings? If so, then we should celebrate! Haha...

Then went for yamcha again with David and Daniel, although near 12am liao. They played some Magic and then we chat about some love stuffs. I asked David to rank, and he said LG was the prettiest among them all. Although it was a fact, but I kind of felt sad for YL... in my heart, she will remain the prettiest of them all. Okok, stop vomiting blood you readers! Hahaha... XD

CNY season!

So CNY has passed a few days ago... this year was the worse, the feeling of CNY was so little it was hardly felt everywhere, except home. Still, I had some good memories this couple of days.

On Monday went to Raub, Pahang to find my kai-cow mou (step aunty, or something like that, haha). They own a pet shop and breed some pets themselves. The stench at the back of the house was unbearable for me (where all the pets are, mostly dogs). Then we went for lunch where they treat us to eat at a seafood restaurant, and later we return to their home for mahjong. They even gave us a bottle of red wine as souvenir, nice!

Yesterday was the most enjoyable one of all. After waiting for nearly a week, we finally get together to have a Japanese dinner, me and my 1st batch of TARC friends. Those that joined were Daniel, YLin, Jimmy, WingC, SGeng, Oon and the one year missing dude, Weng Foo! We had fun eating and chatting there... and continued playing 'police, killer and doctor' card game at Station One cafe (second round yamcha). Unfortunate that we can't gamble this year cause WF's schedule was fully pack and he's leaving back to Abu Dhabi this Saturday. See you again next year dude!

So what did we talk/ joke about during the 6 hour ++ reunion? Talk about me chasing YLin last time (paiseh!), talk about me still concentrating on YL when SG brought another leng lui with her last time (but CM more interested in SG's fren, haha!) and stuffs. A reliving the past moment, so fun... XD

YL... I should really REALLY forget her, sigh.....!

Favourite time of the month is here!

I can smell it just around the corner... the smell of good and delicious food, the time to drink soft drinks 3-4 packets a day, the sound of firecrackers, the time to sit back and relax, and most of all... the chance to have fun with your relatives (and maybe earn a buck or two) by gambling, hahaha XD

New clothes to wear, ang pows to be received... ah, although it maybe a bit loud and noisy, but that's what CNY is all about! Would it be nice if the house was all quiet... no ppl, no noise, no laughter? Not nice, right? :P

So let's all get ready to celebrate the year of the Ox with strength and determination! It's going to be a tough economic year, but it will get better next year. Gong Xi Fa Cai and Happy Chinese New Year to all my friends and readers out there! Wishing you happiness, health and prosperity all year round!

P/S: Will not be around cause balik kampung, see you after the breaks!

Updates...

Ah, so long no update d... Earlier this week was busy enjoying life as just finished all the bloody assignments, then need to go college take the exam slips as I'm the class rep. When I saw LG, my feelings went haywire again, but I just ignore her like I usually do... bad? Don't care, lol

Then the feeling of missing her haunted me badly, like usual. But this time, a miracle happened... A classmate, which I was actively talking to in her blog, suddenly become a 'spy'! We chatted in MSN, and slowly, I was able to 'extract' vital information about LG from her. Yeah, me liking LG was known by almost all d (not my current but 'ex' class), so it makes my work easier, haha...

And the news about LG I got was... bad. REALLY bad...! In just one night, my feelings for her was shattered, swept away and flushed down the toilet... and I was happy! I found out she was actually a 'back stabber', in which she will tell a person some secret, telling the person not to tell another... but then she told the same thing to another person! That is why my 'spy' wasn't feeling that bad telling her secrets to me, since it's already known by many! LOL

Anyway, she also talks about opinions, what the person told or did, and stuffs to people... and it goes on. I knew she likes to talk, but is she really THAT lonely until she used people as topics to gossip?!? And I was one of them too... and I was sad that she doesn't like me for 'TWO' reasons which I will not mention here, haha. To top ot off, she's currently in love with another guy from her society. That explains why she 'dumped' me on David's bday without any guilt or remorse!! >0

Ahh... I feel so free now. No more 'feelings' to make me lonely... I don't feel bonded nor trapped... This is what freedom is about! ^^ LG will never be in my mind or heart anymore, and being a friend with her is dangerous too! Yamcha with her may never happen again, which is a good thing as it saves fuel to fetch her from so far, mwahahahaha!!!

Yesterday went to yamcha with Sam, cause he will be working in Abu Dhabi for 3 years after CNY. The only thing I didn't like yesterday was that 'someone' who called me names in front of so many people, in public! It was already bad he did it in the internet to me, but doing the same f***ing thing in public!?! I don't care if he think it's funny or it's his 'way' of socializing, I won't befriend a person who calls me name in public... cause that shows he's not respecting me. And when I took the initiative to inform him of the gathering earlier by SMS, he repaid it by MSNing me and asked me 'L***r, tonight 8.30pm?'... I was totally pissed and ignored him the whole night!!! A friend who doesn't respect another friend doesn't deserve to be called a friend, right?

Forget about it, I don't want to get upset of those petty things. So yesterday after yamcha with Sam, Jimmy, WingC, Daniel and KH at Station One Setapak, we decided to go snooker, which Daniel didn't join. Played for nearly two hours, and everyone was good at it too! Haha... Then Sam fetched me home.

These two days also bought some nice CNY clothes... can't wait to go back kampung and wear it! Ahh, CNY is my favourite festival of the year...! XD

CNY is over

Ah, so fast CNY is over... no more angpows or gambling liao, sien! Why don't CNY follow like Hari Raya and make it one month leh? Haha... oh well, Chap Goh Meh passed yesterday. Didn't go pick up any oranges (points at Daniel) but was busy going to relative's house to bath and take water. After that go and eat at a restaurant, call variety of foods. The most expensive was the 'foh put' or sometimes called 'The Four Season'. All the food was nice and delicious (tambah berat again, swt) and for 7 ppl, it only cost RM130. Quite ok considering the 4 season itself already cost RM60!

What made me a bit sad was the other day, we thought of going to another relative's house. Don't know coincidence or what, the aunt tell us she's will be back late (around 9-10pm). So we decided to go to other friends house. After 10 minutes, she called back and says his 2 kids at home says around 3pm earlier the water was getting smaller, so now 'going' to be no more water. She thought we will FIND her when she gets back THAT late? -_-;

But we all know she is faking it... why? First, we didn't tell her it was actually ONLY our place no water, so she thought she could lie and says her place ALSO no water. Second, her 2 sons is at home, why we cannot go her house leh? -_- It's as though her house got diamond walls, so we cannot go and see...! This kind of relatives is really... sigh, better don't have than have!!!

Life is like that... full of people who only care for themselves. A little water cost how much lah? The normal household only uses around RM30-RM40 per month! You want us pay, we gladly pay back la! Deceiving us with lies and deceptions... have you no shame? Glad we no go also... we went to another relative then belanja them makan besar-besar, dowan belanja u! >P

Stupid SYABAS... still haven't connect back the water. If I'm going to vote, sure not going to vote the current party for my place! We are suffering like Hell and they do nothing, what kind of good leader party is that?!? And I think it's PAS some more... no wonder la! KNS!!

Went to Ylin house for 'pai lin'

A taste of lamb from her is more delicious than the juiciest meat in the world... XD

Yesterday, after days of planning, went to Ylin house to visit her for CNY and see her new born baby. It should be done on Sunday but suddenly changed to Sat because she's busy that day. At first wanted to go Taman Bahagia for lunch (Jimmy wants to eat a very very delicious chicken rice) but Daniel says it's too far, and we would be going in a triangle (Tmn Melawati to Tmn Bahagia then back to Puchong), so we decided to eat at Wangsa Maju only.

After lunch, he took a haircut and then we're off to YLin's house. We were a bit late but finally found them. Already there was YLing, Sam, Jimmy, WingC, Oon and SGeng. We reached there around 2.45pm and hang out until 6pm++. Play mahjong that YLing brought, and poker cards. At first lost money on blackjacks, but then won back some on 'In between'. It was fun and adrenaline pumping when we play 'In between', haha. YLin's first son was also more 'smarter' now. Those few hours there was really full of laughter and memorable...

After that went to eat at a restaurant called 'The Waterlily Cafe' near IOI mall, but on the other side of the road. Most of the food there was grilled, but it was nice and delicious. A bit expensive but expected. Here are the food we ordered:

Me and Oon: Bali's Fish
Sam and WingC: Nasi Lemak BBQ Chicken
Daniel: Chicken + Beef combo
SGeng: Fish and Squid combo
Yling: Bali's Lamb
Jimmy: Bali's Beef

Overall I must say 'I should have sticked to the lamb in the first place!'. The fish was so small... lucky I was finally satisfied in the end. The lamb was nice and huge portion, why did I changed my mind!?

After that we went to 'Ngau Cheh Sui', I don't know what's it called in English. It's a nice open area in Damansara, but quite hidden that's why even Daniel don't know where it is. A nice place to take pictures, we had a blast there. (For more pics, head over to Daniel's blog!) There's a lot of restaurants, shops and stalls... definitely something for everyone. We didn't finished walking the whole place and left as it was getting late (near 12am liao!). The place closes at 12am.

We bid adieu and head home. I follow Daniel, SG follow Jimmy and WingC while Oon and Yling followed Sam. It was definitely a day to remember, how I wished we could do it more often!

1 week no update...

Wah, it's been a long long time since I didn't update. Ok, maybe 1 week is not so long, but it's been long since I didn't update that long... Last week balik kampung because CNY, but because we were late and traffic jam on the way, we missed the reunion dinner. So we randomly pick and ate in a restaurant in Lawan Kuda. I was suprised to see a new dish there that I have never eaten before... It's pork, but the strange part is that it taste soft yet crunchy at the same time. A real fattening delicacy, but once in a long time, worth it!

Thursday more relatives came and we play mahjong, poker cards and etc like what a CNY 'mood' should do. Lost a bit money, but I was still happy as I was able to enjoy and see my relatives that I hardly see. Got some angpows, but way less than last year. But who's counting? XD

Friday went to Ipoh. Went with my favourite niece too. So many people (and leng luis), the moment I step into Jaya Jusco, I already feel like I'm back in KL. The lack in parking space was the same too... -_-; A funny thing happened when a fat lady pinched my niece on the butt... was he lucky? LOL.

Sat went back around 11pm++ to avoid the massive traffic. The ride was quite smooth, but my poor dad have to suffer while driving in the night (tired). Ah, the feeling of back at home is so sweet...! Sunday and Monday stay at home while my parents went out to do their stuffs (shopping, paper works, casino, etc.) This year was also quite lucky as my dad won around RM5k. So Monday night we went to eat an RM188 meal... it was meant for maybe 10 people, but we 6 nearly finished it all... left the taufu to tapau only, lol.

So yesterday, Tuesday, is the day dad will be going back to China. All of us (except our aunt) sent dad to the LCCT, spend some time together at McD and finally see dad leave into the check-in area. Lucky in the last minute I asked dad for the car keys, or else we will walk back home! The few days dad were here was nice... We learned a lot from him, and I'm happy when both my parents are together as I can see my mom miss my dad a lot. Take care over there dad!

Busy CNY

Sry for the lack in updates... last week busy kemas rumah. Then on Sat, me, Oon, WingC, Jimmy, SG, Cming and Yling went to Sunway Pyramid to celebrate SG's bday. Went for a 3 hour karaoke, followed by window shopping. Most of the clothes are bought by SG... I didn't notice but among all my TARC friends, only SG (and SP) wore dresses. All others are either too shy or not suitable to wear dresses. Why do I suddenly mention this? Because I think that girls (or woman) that wears dresses are more feminine, beautiful and... better looking! XD

On Sunday went to fetch dad from Air-Asia airport. He bought back a bunch of stuffs, and my fav is my ORI MAN U football cap (from Air-Asia) and an expensive brown leather turn-watch or whatever it is called. The watch need to be 'wind' every 1 or 2 days to be operational, which means it doesn’t need battery. It looks nice too as the back of it is semi-transparent, allowing you to see it's inside (ticking and moving parts). Cool! ^^

Then Monday started the 'itchy hand' fever... We fixed the Mahjong table that we bought 1 week ago, then 'hoi toi'! Ahh... so long no play mahjong liao, really nice, kekeke...! Also play poker cards and any games which is related to the word 'fun' and 'gamble', hahaha... Only once season a year, nvmla! :P

Today or tomorrow will be leaving for kampung in Gopeng, Perak. The 'fun' will continue there, with more people and more laughter around. The only thing I hate is when the grown-ups quarrel among each other about stuffs like 'Why you don't balik, need me balik!?', 'Why you cook so much?’,’ Why always me, not you...!?' etc. Sighhh........ -_-; And they say we are childish, cis!

So won't be updating much until after balik kampung or after CNY. Hope you all will have a Happy Holiday! Gong Hei Fatt Choy to all!! ^^

The season is coming...

Ahh... finally the season has come. Whenever CNY comes, I feel so happy and high-spirited. It's because CNY is the season to balik kampung and see all my relatives (which maybe can see 1-2 times a year, including CNY!). Also it is the time to get angpows... although not much, but the 'feeling' of opening an angpow to see how much you get is just... fun, lol.

Then it's also the time they play those happy CNY songs (I like listening to those songs). Not to mention it's the time to throw away your guild and eat like a pig! So soo soooooo many nice foods, I can't wait to eat them all! Also the only time in the year where I buy new clothes (I'm very jimat-sermat type, lol) and get to show it off to relatives and friends, hehe...

Plus, it's the only time in the year where we are allowed to gamble! Okok, dowan call gamble... call play 'money related' games, haha. Poker, mahjong, cho dee... those are the favourites. When you play it in a happy season like CNY, lose money also nvm! (but I dowan lose la, touchwood...)

Need I explain more why I love CNY so much? As the season is coming, nowadays busy busy cleaning up the house, kemas this and that, etc. Some more dad's coming back this Sunday, and going to celebrate SG's birthday on Sat... so busy, sorry if I don't update often!

Wishing all my readers a very merry GONG XI FA CHAI!!!

What a busy week... CNY in Kampung

Wow... didnt update for more than a week liao. Last week balik kampung on Sunday. Stay until Wednesday only came back KL. Had a blast there, where I meet my cousins, uncles and aunties. Also my grandma. Ahh... so happy to be with so many relatives once in a while.

Get some angpows... got suprised when my aunty from London came back too. She gave us the most money in an angpow, which is RM20. Didnt know she was a good cook (like my mom) and even knows how to make Tiramitsu cake! I mean not lousy ones... but cake shop quality ones! She sell cakes to ppl who order from her (from her house) and ppl will soon introduce her to another fren, and she gets more customer then. Didnt open a cake shop cause the tax there is outrageous >.<

Also saw my (first runner up in Miss Tourism last year) cousin there. Wow, the first look at her (after so long didnt meet her) was a 'omg!'. Her makeup was a bit too heavy (for me) and the black long eyebrow (stick or makeup, I also donno) was creepy. But later when we talk to her, she was still the nice and friendly girl I knew, not some cocky and proud modal. She wore a dress which makes her look...ehem... sexy. But overall, she's pretty and I hope she'll become an air-hostess (her dream) soon. Ganbatte!

No other special ppl to mention there. The usual gambling is on, where we played Mahjong, Big 2, Jirami, Blackjack and poker. Most of them involve money (else it wont be fun in this CNY mood, right? ^^) Sad to say, I think I lose a bit or just get back my modal money. Man... some kids have all the luck -_-; Oh, ate a nice delicacy of Ipoh called 'Chicken Bread' (translated from Cantonese) which is expensice but nice! Anyone tried before? ^^

Overall it was a nice reunion, and I hope to see them all again, next year... Cheers!

Happy CNY to all. Wishing you having a nice pig year, this year ^^

Ah... CNY is just around the corner, time for red packets and firecrackers to make the festival a funtastic event. There's no time like a time for u to go balik kampung, see ur relatives (once or twice a year only see!), chat, get angpows... then hoitoi! Bring out the poker cards and mahjong, time to win all ur money! Hehe... My 'no gamble' policy only breaks when CNY is here XD

To those who stays in KL to work or dont have a kampung, no worry... there's still a lot of happenings around town, CNY films to go see or friends to hang out with. Remember the rule... you cannot give angpows until you're married!

WISHING YOU ALL A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

It's her birthday, again

So today is 'her' birthday. The old me will be thrilled. It's like one of the most important date of the year, as important as ...
