Balik kampung

Saturday balik kampung with my family. Ah, at least this will give me some relaxation from all the hectic homeworks and assignments I have been doing the past few weeks.

On the way, we stop by at Bidor because my bro wants to taste again the nice food he ate there last week, when he was on the way back from Langkawi. I didn't know what this small town has to offer, but since he wants it, my parents brought us there. We sit in a shop called Pun Chun Chicken Biscuits and restaurant.



I was shocked because in such a small and old restaurant, the price of the foods were DAMN high! Of course, the food was better (than usual, a bit) but with the amount of money we pay, I feel like we are being 'chopped' in KL! Then my mom told me the reason why it's so expensive is because it's a tourist attraction area, where rich people come a long way just to eat there. Swt... what people will do because of publicity!

Then we head back to Gopeng, which is already near night time. Watch a bit of tv, then we head back out to eat dinner. We were suprised as Lawan Kuda, a place near Gopeng, is now a lively neighbourhood. We were able to taste a lot of new delicacies there, at a standard price. Heck, the ice-cream ABC only cost RM2.50, and the ice-cream used was good quality ones (Walls I think).

The next day followed my parents for some morning breakfast. The food was still good, but a bit pricey now (because of the rise in cost for everything). But still it's cheaper than KL. After that went to buy some 'kicap' from the famous kicap 'factory'. It's not a factory but an open area where they produce good quality kicap, at a good price. One of the secret 'gold' of Gopeng, their kicap is pure and tasty, you can't find it anywhere else! XD

Then spent most of the time gambling at home with my 2 bro (lost money). Late at night went to eat with grandma. We called again the most special and delicious 'Pork Leg' (or was it hands?), grilled and cooked to perfection, then served with some special sauce which looks like curry o.O That food is REALLY super nice, can't get it anywhere else too (as far as I know). Someday really should bring my friend over to try it, haha... (sry, non-halal babe!) XD

Finally the time has come where we need to go back to KL... and suffer. After saying goodbye to my loving old grandma, we head back home around 10am. Skipped the 1 hour lecture at 1pm cause tired and parents were rushing to do their work. Need to pass up the 35 pics (which we got TIME EXTENSION from last week) this Saturday!! Only did around 7... sei la! Need to color tim!! >.<

P/S: Germany lost to Spain!? Argh, there goes my RM1 bet... :P

Some people are born rude

There's a lot of rude person in this world, and you don't need me to tell you that. But today my brother is so sickeningly rude, he's like a mad dog trying to get its bone...!

It all happened like this. My parents gave me permission to drive the car to school in the morning while they went out. Then after my first tennis lesson (fun but damn hard and tiring), I went to fetch my bro to school. He went early although his class starts at 4pm because he says he want to do his assignments.

After I fetch him to the TARC hostel, where he says will do his project with his gf, he suddenly says 'Give me the car, I forgot to take something and need to go back home'. Immediately I know that he is lying and I said I will send him back to take it and drop him there again. But he says 'No, I WANT the car'...!

I tell him to ask my parents permission before he can take it, but my parents hp are unreachable. So since I don't give him to drive the car and he WANTS it, we end up staying in the car, wasting time. Soon, he got fed up and took my wallet, then fling the money inside the car, then throw my wallet out the car! I nearly slap him on the spot, but I pressured myself not to do it, else I will be the one getting it from my parents later.

Again he was mad and tried to KICK me out of the car, with his shoes still ON!!! I felt the pain, both emotionally and physically, because he dares to kick his own elder brother, for the sake of his GF! The truth he wanted the car was to waste petrol, taking his gf here and there and to take the badminton racquet because his gf doesn't have one. Whatever the reason, is there any good reason of kicking me for his gf!? That's why I'm sad to have a brother like him... TOO sad.

Anyway, life is college has been busy lately. Assignments, assignments and more assignments. Each day I only can have ONE Dota game before doing assignments again (or sleeping because too tired). Today even saw Sum's cousin, which is my senior! lol... looks like he stopped Magic too... and busy with assignments. TARC... gotta love it, and hate it... XD


P/S: Dad came back from China yesterday! Got many goodies for us too, hehe...

Ah, it's good to know class isn't as boring as last time anymore. Last time the stupid lecturers just keep on yapping, we keep on talking at the back, in the end everyone got bad results and lecturer kena 'tuut' because didn't teach properly. Now they make us happy, we concentrate, we study and scores, everyone happy. Isn't that better? XD

But not all are so 'up to date' yet. Some lecturers still a bit boring, poundering us with projects and boring lectures. Next week is Dooms Day, since all 5 (or is it six?) subjects assignments need to be passed up and I've not even done 25% of it.

Suddenly I gain interest in a particular girl in class. She is not beautiful, a bit skinny and speaks Mandarin. Still, there is something about her smile that attracts me. She is also early almost everyday, thus I saw her a lot of times. Yesterday I left late but accidentally saw her again, behind the college hall, from afar. God must be playing tricks on me again... why do I always fell for these type of random girls!?!

But I suddenly feel down and sad when I realised... he may already have a sweet heart. It's because she frequently received sms and calls, even when in the class, thus she need to answer the call outside of the room most of the time. So fast heartbroken? It ended before it started?Maybe, haha... (Man, I hate myself sometimes...) T_T

Busy month for everyone?

Wah, is it just me... or are a lot of people getting busy nowadays? Taiko Aceone no come my blog, a lot of bloggers didn't update their blog and the active bloggers also seldom update liao. Maybe it's that time of year... or everyone no more fresh idea what to blog liao.

Me getting busier and busier. Need to draw 35 art drawings in 2 weeks, history project, art project, computer project, creative thinking project... and co-coriculum starting next week. All projects pass up next week too, die man! David and Daniel, no yamcha for me next week please...! >.<

Today got my hands for the first time on human figure drawing. Today's 3 models were girls, and my friends praised me, saying 'Walao, you are not human man!' XD The only problem is I couldn't draw the face, cause my potrait drawing still sucks. Blame it all on MIA that does NOT teach human figure drawing AND potrait drawing... stupid MIA! Even TARC better!!

This Sat could have joined my old TARC friends cause class cancelled, but then I need to fix the car front view glass (cracked). Oh well, will missed going out with them to Kuala Selangor like last time. Will miss the chance to see 'her' too. Maybe I could use this opportunity to finish up all my projects... >.<;

A change of luck

Although it was a very bad luck for me earlier in the week, I had a change of luck yesterday. After lecture, went to Canteen 2, where there's some activities going on. The Fly.Fm team were there, playing all sort of games and giving away freebies. I got a packet of bread and a Pepsi Max, while some of my friends got small torchlights, Malaysian car magazine, calendars and car sun blocks. I didn't get any of those because I was shy to do those stuffs and not in the mood to jump and grab those stuffs... >.<


Waited and waited, finally the time has arrived. We were waiting for the lucky draw from Digi, which only people changing to the Fuyoh plan can participate. The prizes wasn't really good, with only goody bags except for the main prize, which all of us wanted. So the dude keep calling out phone numbers, to see who is the lucky person eligible for it...


One of my friend got the goody bag. Then when the grand prize was announced, I could hear him say... 0 1 6... 9 9 8...! Right then I knew and told my friend 'Yes, I'm the one...' in a slow tone. He thought I was kidding. And so I keep a cool posture and wait for him to finish calling out the number, then raised my hand and said "Fuyoh!". Everybody was looking at me... -_-;


The dude, looking at me with a 'Are you sure you won?' look asked to check if the number was mine. After that I officially won... an LG Handphone! It's black in color and worth around RM300++. Not really a great phone, but still better then my old one! First time won the grand prize in a lucky draw, I was really happy (though I wasn't showing it). Took some pictures too, wonder where will they post it? :P


Looks like luck really turn for the better after going through a very bad luck phase... sometimes. Today even get to know more new friends from another group. The only bad news is, assignments are pouring in and need to be finished in 2 weeks! What can I say... that's life! XD

Worse luck of the year

Two days ago was really sui (bad) for me... First I accidentally yank my necklace, causing it to putus into two. The necklace has been with me for nearly 10 years, it's so sad watching it break apart like that. Then at night got the news that there is no water in my apartment again. No water + no lift = Disaster! So in the chaos of filling every bucket with water, I accidentally step on something... *Tuut!* It's the PSP!!! Repairing it with my own pocket money, I lost a whooping RM300... there goes my dream of a Graphic Tablet! T_T


But then yesterday was a happy day, as my team which consist of Daniel, David and Andrew beat my bro's team (Chooi, Kelvin and a specky guy) in DOTA at night, for two rounds in a role. Then we yamcha and watched football, which Spain beat Russia 4-1. Went back around 2am, and got school the next day! >.<


Today nothing special, except my old MIA teacher wanted us to be 'hardworking' and try to take more pics and draw more sketches, which he will see on week 7th. If a lot of us shows laziness, then he will discontinue it. I love to sketch, but take pics... with my super old 2 MP camera!? I heard that there will be a portrait drawing, 15 min after the class starts next week. Hope it really happens, and the model is a girl, not a boy! XD

Busy, busy...

Life has been busy these past days... and tiring. Everyday go school have to walk around the big campus, then when go home have to walk up 12 more stairs because lift rosak. Good for health, I know, but still damn tiring... Luckily Sat was a holiday, so went out with my old TARC friends (they r not really OLD).

Sat early morning took LRT to Tmn Bahagia, waited Jimmy for 45 min then go fetch WingC (SG was in the car). After that head straight to One Utama where Jimmy need to cut his hair. While he cuts, I and SG went for some Big Apples donuts. My first time, it was delicious! Then I ordered one more, yummy... Sam came just as Jimmy finished cutting his hair for RM25.

Then we went to search for a boutique shop cause WingC wanted to buy some new clothes for her anniversary dinner, but found out it only sells man clothes. So went back and tried the newly opened Carls Jr. The burgers was big, but expensive... It maybe worth the price if you could afford. We lepak there for hours, chatting, gosipping... until decided to move to The Curve at 5pm.

Didn't go jalan2 at The Curve but in Ikea, cause Sam wants to take some photos for inspiration (he bought a new house). It was actually nice hanging around there, pretending we own the place and trying on all those furnitures. Then Daniel came, and we head over to Murni for dinner.

Dinner there was the first for Sam and SG. I'm suprised that all of us finished all of the big plates of food, with no leftovers at all. YLing and CMing (and his friend) came later to yamcha with us until around 2am++, we split. David also joined and he only ate when we disbanded, lol. Reach home tired, and still need to walk up 12 stairs, swt...

Sun went to shop nearly the whole day, for groceries and clothes. Tired, tired! >.<

Saw YL, after sometime misses her. She's still the same person, and now working in a new company full of males. Do I feel jealous? A bit... but I know she will go on with her life, as will I. Hope that she will get a good bf there, so I will not miss her... and myself get one in TARC too, hahaha. Kim Hoe and Siew Ping already found their love, I heard. Argh, being a bachelor is soooo not what I want! YL begone!!

How's life been so far

It's been the second week of TARC, and tutorials are starting to pour in. Most of the lecturers and tutorial teachers are fun and sporty, not those old and boring 'come in and do your work' types. I even got praised for a nice drawing (since I do have some art backgraound), hehe...


Meet some new friends too. Although still not that many Chinese friends, but got some. Still NO girl Chinese friends, siggh. But after joining tutorial class for a couple of times, I can see 3-4 nice looking ones in my class. Hey, better than none! XD


Then suddenly the government suprise us with another bad news, the price of oil increase again... starting tomorrow! So me and my bro went to try our luck to fill our car tanks full in Petronas, near the LDDP road. Luckily the petrol kiosk was profesional and the car was lining up peacefully, awaiting their turn. Around 20-30 min, it was already our turn. We filled it full which cost RM95, at RM1.92 per liter. Starting tomorrow it will be RM2.70 per liter! 40% hike, yikes!

School for six days a week!?

Last Sat went for the first class that uses BM, which is Hubungan Etnik (something to do with perpaduan antara kaum). It was like sejarah about the races in Malaysia, and they even touch about sensitive issues from the past... to teach we should understand and not repeat the same mistake, bla, bla,bla. It is quite interesting, but how much % of it will be boring?


After the lecture finished, some guy went in front and write down some changes in the classes. Suddenly our class has a tutorial on freaking Saturday! *TUUT!* My bro only has 4 class a week while I have SIX!?! Stupid people who come up with this timetable, curse you!!!


First week and I can already feel the pressure coming. It won't be long before the tsunami of assignments and projects come, sweeping me away from all my pleasure time. Oh well... everyone has their role to play I guess. Today will be having my first tutorial *I hope no cancel again*. Time to meet some new girls as friends! XD

Fourth and fifth day

Yesterday and today the lectures finally go on as usual, no more class cancelled. Some of the teacher was nice, some was serious... but all of them are dedicated, and they don't teach just for the sake of getting their pay, which is a good thing.

Today got to know some new friends, Indians and Chinese, but only males. Hanging along with them feels not the same from my first batch of TARC friends. Maybe because different attitudes or different timeline. Whatever the reason is, I will stay with them for two years, thus I need to adept... by hook or by crook.

This semester they won't be any usage of computer labs, but a lot of projects. Sad to say soon I will be too busy like the rest of the TARC students, and won't be able to hang out with my friends or blog frequently liao. Oh well, at least this is better than me wasting time doing nothing at home! XD

Tomorrow should be a free day, but then some kns lecturer skipped his lecture this week, so will be replacing it tomorrow, on a Sat!?! Damn... how a single person could drag so many problems to so many people... sounds percuiliar, ain't it? -_-;

Three days, no more strike!

Today got two lecture. First lecture AGAIN the teacher did not show up. So took the opportunity to choose class rep. It was weird cause usually the teacher choses the class rep on the first day of tutorial, during my times. Maybe cause this course rep cannot stand people keep sms and calling her, she wants the class rep to take the responsibilities pula... swt.

Unfortunaltely, although I wished, I wasn't pick as a class rep. Oh well, being a class rep means u need to fork out a lot of money for phone calls and sms. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise that I didn't make it? Anyway, my class rep is a girl, which looks a bit cute and pretty... so pass la! XD

The second lecture finally was our official FIRST lecture for the week. It was introduction to illustration. I thought illustration was Illustrator, the software. Mana tau it was the drawing class again. I thought Multimedia Design no need draw!? -_-

Looks like this Pn. Nik is quite a serious teacher, and she graduated from MARA. Saying 100% coursework is exam marks, our fate totally lies in her hands, swt. And she wants us to buy those stuffs that I bought last time when I was in MIA... sigh, feels like MIA all over again! Oh well, at least I'm a bit senior, hope I could excel in this subject! :P But before that, need to use a lot of money to buy those art materials again... ouch!
