Food and money

Finally feeling better after nearly one week sick yesterday. These few days been eating Muesli with cold milk as lunch. One pack of Muesli is not cheap also, nearly RM10! But after pouring all of it into a bottle... I think it can last for about 10 lunches, gua.....

Some of you may think 'Walao, RM10 for a pack of mueslies? Better buy maggi mee la!'. But don't forget... muesli are GOOD for you, while instant noodles are BAD. Yeah, RM10 is expensive... but if you compared it to eating outside for lunch, how many lunch can you buy for RM10? Maybe 3-4 only! So actually, it's not as expensive as you thought it would be.

Although eating muesli is good for me (and my diet) but *urgh!*... muesli really hard to make you 'full'! Eat already, then 1-2 hours later terus digest liao. Maybe cause it doesn't contain carbohydrate which makes you 'kenyang', so thats why I feel hungry very fast. But I must resist! To keep fit, I must not eat so much food and unhealthy ones too! This is my next year's resolution... yatahhh!!!

A shocking Asian Idol

I think most of you didn't see Asian Idol last night, did you? It was on TV on Sat and Sun night. And the winner was... omg -_-;

Before I say who the winner is, let me tell you a bit of the 6 contestants (based on my opinions).

Vietnam Idol- the most beautiful and 'commercial value' among all other 5. She's a beauty, hot, and got nice singing too (although not 'special' singing, but still ok).

Singapore Idol- A Malay from S'pore, he's quite good looking. But still, only normal quality of singing.

Philipine Idol- Hmm... didn't expect much cause she's quite the average type of singer only. She can hit a bit of high notes but a bit plump too...

Indonesia Idol- The host country's idol... I thought he would win. Why? Cause although he's a bit plump, he sings well... and as the host country, one fourth of the country's vote for him will totally 'squash' Malaysian's vote.

India Idol- He's the Bolywood kind of singer... quite handsome and can sing and dance. Most of all, he look like he enjoyed it very much (while singing and dancing)... Happy dude!

Malaysian Idol- The best singer, no doubt... cause she can sing profesionally, can sing high pitch songs (like Mariah Carey) and looks like a diva on stage. The only problem is... she seldom smiles and her singing on stage seem like a... daily routine! If she enjoyed her singing, it would have worked out... >.<

So based on my opinions above, you would have known that Malaysia didn't won. But based on all the judges (one of each country, Paul Moss from Msia), they think the top 3 who would win are Malaysia, Indonesia and... I think India or Vietnam or Philipines? Each voter must choose two countries to be more 'fair'. If I voted, I would have choosen Malaysia and Vietnam.

And the winner was... Singapore! O...M...G!!?! He was the MOST unexpected to win! He sings ok, but all the other 5 was ok TOO. He's a bit handsome, but India was even better looking than him! And his country was the smallest country among all 6! So why does he win!!??

Sorry if this post offended any Singaporean... but it really shocked me. This proofs that we can't underestimate ANY countries, lol! Oh well, it was still an enjoyable show overall, doesn't matter who won. Asia Boleh! XD

Seven random facts tag

Uhh... still a bit sick. The sore throat haven't recovered, still got a bit flam and cough. Even I need to talk softer cause no voice. If I were in better shape, maybe I could have joined the Shout-out gathering in Penang. But I heard there's not enough car space? Oh well, maybe next year... Daniel went, David stayed in KL like me..... >.<

I can feel the 'killing' aura of Pinksterz accumulating in my blog... asking me to quickly do her tag. I'm having nightmares of her saying 'Doooo my tag! Dooooooo my tag!!'. Now I have to walk carefully on the streets, afraid something pink may pounced on me anytime... (lol, kidding, kidding! XD)

Oh well, since I have recovered a bit, I will do her tag now. Then I finally can stop the nightmares (not the bombing). Hmm... thinking back, I think I did some tag like this a long time ago. Was it the same? o.O?

Rules:
Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. people who are tagged need to then report this on their own blog with their 7 things as well as these rules. they then need to tag 7 others and list their names on their blog. they are also asked to leave a comment for each of the tagged, to let them know that they have been tagged and to read the blog.

One attitude
I'm shy yet kind... friendly yet timid.... I really think I'm too big and tall for my attitude. People who don't really know me will one-look-say 'This big guy is scary, cocky, ugly and kinky!' but the truth is... I'm one big lonely giant >.<'

Two bugs
I hate cockraoches... and 90% of all living insects. Why? Cause they stinks, they have creepy legs... and they look creepy! Most hated reason is those small insects bite me and cause pain to every inch of my body, yet I can't find it and squash it back! Arrrghhhh!!

Three feelings
I love romantic and sentimental stuffs. I dream of going to Paris with my future wife. I want to dance with her in a big ballroom, just the two of us, with love songs playing in the background... OUR love song. I like to see her smile whenever we did something romantic and unforgettable, together, forever... (I could hear guys puking liao, lol...)

Four love
Based on the above, you should know that I'm a love-freak. Yup... the one and only girl YL, makes me cannot sleep at night. She makes my head come up with all kind of illusions involving her. I dreamt of dying in her arms once, in many other dreams. I make girl characters in a game with her name, or make a pet based on her name. I'm sick, you don't need to remind me that! >.<

Five arts
I love to draw, once. I used to love drawing so much, I will give all my heart and soul to try mimic other atrist's drawing, then change it to become my own. But now the flame is out... I only draw once in a bluemoon. If I had a Drawing Template, maybe the fire will burn again? XD

Six emotions
I'm easily emo... sometimes. Yeah, it's a bad traits in a man, but heck, who says man can't have it? :P But usuallyno matter how emo I am, I will still keep it inside. And then I will let go my anger in my blog, muahahaha! So if you wanna know how I really feel, don't ask... come see for yourself.

Seven attitude
I'm naive and honest... I easily trust people's words, even if it is obviously a lie. But after you lie to me a lot of times, I will FOREVER distrust you... so don't lie frequently! I was so naive (when I was a child) that I believed a friend of mine owned a 'special' rock, and I bought it! It was actually those rocks they used as decorations in pots -_-'' I also don't like to lie as I don't want people to distrust me in the future because of one lie. My heart feels bad after each 'forced' lie...

There, kau tim! Hmm, I wonder if all those are boring? Oh well... hope you learn more about me! Now to see another seven ppl confessing... They are:

Daniel
David
Beve
Baby Fiona
Qikibulat
Angeline
Mitch

Enjoy! If u r sick or away, then no need do la... >.<

Finally changed the power supply

Fuh... these past few days sick, yet I still got the strengh to fix my com. Of course, no com means no blog, which in the end means no life! XD lol, kidding... anyway, it's the first time I 'service' my own com. Last time I saw how they do it at the com shop, where the ppl serviced Sum's com to make it less dusty and 'cooler'. I did all the same way, only I couldn't do is the part where they apply some kind of chemical between the fan and motherboard, to make it cool down easier. Who knows where to buy that chemical, do tell...!

Today bought the power supply from Asashi, cost RM70... and no brand + 3 months guarentee only! Usually one year mah... If this thing doesn't last at least a year, I'm not going to go buy anything from there anymore!

When reached home tidy up the back of the com table... omg, so much dust! After sucking the dusts, need to kemas this and that... argh, I hope my bro will appreciate what I'm doing! >.< Then try out the PC, and it works! Hurah!! Got two com, now can DOTA with bro again!! XD

P/S: Tried to use old power supply but it needs a SATA cord, which only new PS got... mafan! But thanks David for trying to find for me your old ones too.

Yesterday 10 hours of no electricity!

Walao... those of you who are working (or not near Melawati area) sure didn't perasan, but TNB cut the power supply here for up to 10 freaking hours! 2-3 hours also suffer liao, but 10 hours!? Wth can be done in 10 hours without power??!

Basically nothing! I can't blog, no bot, can't play games, no music, can't watch tv, no fan!!! So hot and boring kao kao!! THE only thing I did was sleep, eat, read some Shin Chan comics, sleep, tidy up the com desk, wait for the freaking power on back... It's basically human torture if you don't give us electricity! >.<

I was using the com when suddenly it when 'poof'. Then when the power is back, I on the com back again. But using it not even one hour, it goes 'poof' again. I thought there's a glitch, so I try to turn it on again (as the fan is still blowing normally). *Click*... *Click*... Aik?...*Click**Click**Click* Omg, it couldn't be...! *Click**Click**Click**Click**Click* Argh, my com is fried!!!!! There's even some burnt smell coming out near the CPU... Holy Shit!!!

After much testing, I suspected it was the power supply kantoi. Called Daniel and he says so too, so it's confirmed (90%). The KNS TNB should pay me back a bloody power supply! Luckily there's another com outside my room, so I could use it while waiting to buy a new power supply back. ~Daniel, u wanna sell to me ur extra PS or not? Found liao or not? If not I buy liao today! (This budak memang terkenal last minute... -_-;)~

Sigh, and I'm having a bad sore throat since 2 days ago. Need more rest... so delay Pinksterz tag, another day! XD

Thank you Baby Fiona!

Today as I was going to go out and play basketball with David, suddenly there's a knock on the door. I thought to myself, 'Could it be...?!?' As I hurried and opened the door, I was relieved to see not a salesman, but the post office delivery guy! I signed the papers and got the present I have been waiting for... Baby Fiona's Mirmo! XD

But I saved the best for the last, as I need to rush out liao. After a bit of basketball, fetch my mom and bro, shopping in Jusco... finally reached home. As I open the square box, I discovered the Mirmo was nicely wrap in a plastic bag! I thought it was originally like that, but after reading Fiona's blog, I knew that actually she purposely wrap it up so that it won't get wet (because of the rainy season now) when delivered to my doorstep. So nice!! ^^

What surprised me further was there was a yellow printed paper in it, saying 'Congratulation! You are the new owner of Mirmo. And happy belated birthday as well!'... Oh, so touching! I finally received a 'real' bday gift this year, and it's from a person I never seen before in real life! Of course, belanja-ing me movies, makan or Dota is nice too, but the REAL thing is, I will choose a simple Rm20 present over a Rm50 dinner buffet, anytime! Why? Because I'm a person who cherish stuffs as it will last for a looooong time. A buffet will only last a night!

The surprise doesn't end there... there are also TWO keychain/ handphone accessories too! Eh, why leh!? Then I saw a small note, hand written (I like hand written stuffs, it show's you cared... and more 'human feeling' in it), it tells me the other two present is for my birthday too. And one keychain is for my other future 'important person'. Thank you! How I wished I have one too... XD

To top it of, she put it all nicely, with newspaper so it wouldn't be damaged, in a beautiful box! You can see the nice cute bear box in Fiona's blog. To be honest, these small things are actually what makes it all really better. A cincai person will just belanja u makan. A good person will give u a present wrapped in newspaper or wrapping paper. A heart-full person will give you a bday card, wrapped in a nice box and some 'extra' surprises... then a main gift! You truly are a kind, generous and heart-full person Baby Fiona... thanks a million!!!

Yesterday and today

Looking back, I'm amazed how yesterday and today was different, totally different...! Yesterday went to Jusco with David, Daniel, Sum and Lisa. It's because David got a special birthday discount voucher from Padini, that entitles him to buy any non-discounted Padini 'normal items' at 30% discount.

Although I didn't buy any (cause no size, obviously -_-;), I was happy cause I was able to choose 2 nice clothes that Daniel and David bought in the end. The truth is I wanted to buy THOSE if I could, but since I couldn't, I recommended to them... and they bought it! See, my fashion sense not bad man! XD David also bought another t-shirt while Lisa bought a cute girl hat, that's round and white in color...

Then window shopping some more, after that headed for Dota. 3vs2, my team won (all 3)! But I was lucky for getting a good char too in AR, hehe... After that head back, but scolded by mom for buying food back (at first she ask me to eat out, then she cook for me -_-;). Oh well, had a blast earlier, so no worries... :P

Then a strange thing happened today. I think I had 2-3 dreams last night... and somehow, I managed to grasp a bit of what I dreamt when I woke up. With a sudden urge to become a successful man, I had another weird thinking of turning a little elements from the dream... to an idea. An idea to make a fun and facinating site, which if becomes successful, may even be as 'hot' and good as facebook!

Lol... sounds impossible right? I'm amazed myself... how could a nobody like me, thought of an idea that could maybe change the world? Of course the chances are slim... as slim as 0.001%? But it may happened! If the ideas I brainwashed could be turned into a nice website as I hoped (with David and Daniel's help, both in programming and finance), the website could be realised! But whether it could be accepted by the people, it's not yet analyzed. Whatever it is... I hope our wish to be young entrepreneurs will be successful. If not, at least we tried, right? Then, back to school for me... >.<'''

Joyous week has passed

Dad finally went back to China yesterday. For the first time, this time we are not in KLIA but at the LCCT or something. It's shortform for low-cost carrier... terminal? Still, there are a lot of people there. I think more than KLIA! Haha, of course la...

First dad check in his luggage. Then we went to eat at McDonalds cause the flight is delayed (by 1 hour, then became 2 hours -_-;). As I was at the counter, waiting for my turn to buy a value meal... then I see the prices and was WTH!? Why is the prices here more expensive than KL??!? My bro said because it's near the airport. But so what?! If places like Genting, where taking the food up the hill they charge more expensive, I agree la. But KLIA more expensive? Because need to pay toll to bring in food ka?!? Really kns... -_-;

Oh well, pay la... since dad won some money earlier ^^ I thought since it's more expensive, we won't get the normal 'free refill' from McD. But they want me to try, so I try la... Can Wor! Haha, so we refilled our drink for two times. Then I feel better because of the earlier incident :P

One thing good about LCCT is that the parking lot is just outside, no need to take lift go down and bla...bla... It's not so expensive too, only RM4 for I think 3 hours. But the bad side is that the place is further away than KLIA, so waste a bit time and petrol. But we can't complain, cause the air tickets are chosen by the boss. And we all know 9 out of 10 bosses are KIAMSAP. So can jimat, of course jimat la! One trip go and back China save the company Rm1k... siao!

Then at night went to yamcha with friends. Also took David's CRT monitor, for free. Since he so kind (or his dad), I also balas kindness by belanja him makan and minum. He pick the big jug drink, eh... I forgot liao they got serve those drinks! Although RM5, but see him 'puas' minum, saya pun 'puas' lah XD

He also discussed about forming a game site among the 3 of us... I wonder how will it work out?

P/S: Had a strange dream with Lisa and me in it last night. Maybe because saw her when yamcha, so jadi a 'dream'. What's the dream about? Too strange and private, cannot tell u! XD

Dad's going back today

Today my dad's going back to China to work with the flight at around 5pm. It's been 8 days since dad came back, and sad to say... I'm going to miss him. With him around, our home become more happy and lively, cause mom's not so alone. Things get done quickier too, as dad doesn't like things to be delayed until the last moment. With him around, I don't need to send my bro to school too, hehe... Overall, I will miss him when he goes back. Take care over there dad! ^^

Part 2- Perak, the new KL!

Reached Gopeng, terus go for lunch first. Why? Because we are hungry and the super duper famous chicken porridge stall will finish 'stock' very fast! At the food center, my mom terus fly towards the porridge stall... while me, knowing that there should be no more left, look for other food to eat. In the end ate 'gon lou mee' (yellow mee, dry style) with some other lauk. What I like eating there is because its CHEAP, hehe...

Still, my mom was able to get himself two bowl of chicken porridge, without the chicken! Lol... like that also my mom and bro want to eat, really so addictive ka? XD Then head to grandma's house. Nothing much to do then, besides watching TV and play Magic in the room... -_-;

After dinner, dad wanted to go jalan-jalan. So to Ipoh we go! Grandma didn't join cause she sleeps early. In Ipoh, we first went to Tesco, cause need to buy some food for grandma. The first thing shocked me about Ipoh is there are, not one, but TWO fun fair! There are located not far apart, around one km. And the strange thing is, one of the fun fair is located in front of Tesco! o.O

So what else, go la! Didn't step into a fun fair since a kid liao, oh the memories...! ^^ But all around, I see that the fun fair now is more like a children 'gambling center'. It's because they use tokens to play games, and try their luck to win prizes with tokens (money). There are only very few joy rides machines. Even the merry-go-round is broken. Argh, this is not how my happy memories of fun fair was like!! Rosak kao kao!!! Oh, the second thing I'm totally impressed with Kl is... the girls!

Now, now... I'm not a pervert ok? I mean how the Ipoh girls dress up are totally stunning and 'up to date'! They don't look like a Ipoh girls at all! They all dress smartly... some funky, hip-hop style... others sexy and 'expensive' clothings. Walao, if I didn't know, I thought I was in KL tim! Wait... I think they dress even more 'hippy' than KL girls!! Maybe it's just me, cause it's been a very looooooong time since I came to Ipoh (I spent my kinder garden and standard one years in Ipoh). One thing for sure, Ipoh rocks...! XD

At first I was a bit annoyed cause finding a carpark in Ipoh was as hard as KL... maybe harder. But then there was no traffic jam! Soooooo nice, no traffic jam at all although so many people. After tesco, went to eat the 'most famous chicken tauge hor fun' (hor fun is kuew teow in another Chinese language). It's hor fun in soup... but very nice!! The hor fun is soooo smooth and 'licin', simply delicious!

The tauge (beansprouts) and chicken are also fresh, crunchy and... delicious! Delicious man! And the way they serve drinks are unique, even the drinks are unique (mostly Chinese tong sui) where you cant get it normally in KL. But not ngam me, cause I dont like to drink tong sui... lol. Feeling like going to explode after the supper, we went back home.

The next day did nothing much then already time to head back to KL. Kns... damn kao traffic jam when going back! Stuck for nearly 5 hours! Finally eat dinner at Wangsa Maju, then reached home... nearly stuck in the lift! Lucky my 'strong like a cow' bro pushed it open, then we walk up 12 floors -_-;

P/S: Today only I know I won a Mirmo from Babyfiona! So kind of her... she even got the same bday with me! Thanks a lot Fiona!! XD

My dad won Rm1k then Rm2k on Fri and Mon! So lucky! Then we went to eat shark fin last night, woohoo!! XD

It's been a busy week

Ahh... finally I can sit, relax, and blog peacefully. It's been a busy week with my dad back from China and celebrating my bday. Where shall I start?

On last Friday, received a few SMS from my friends and wishes from fellow bloggers. A big thanks to:

David
Seng Geng
Louyea
Aceone
Beve
Daniel
Eith
Qikibulat
Pinksterz
And all others that I didn't or forgot to mention. A little goes a big way, thanks! ^^

Oh, and on Fri my parents went 'up' and won a whooping RM1k, yahoo! So dad gave us the money to buy the LCD monitor, buy KFC for dinner and then went out for another dinner with mom's friends. But suddenly realised, my dad's pasport is missing! So they cancelled the dinner and rushed to the airport. Luckily it is in the airport, in some department. Went through a lot of troubles only get, but worth it. Thanks to all that helped in KLIA, even the policeman was helpful! XD

While my parents was spending 4-5 hours at the airport, I celebrated another time of my bday, CC style. David was kind enough to bring me and my bro to makan dinner, then treat us che cheong fan! Haha, didn't expected that, thanks a lot man! Then we went to play CC first while waiting for Daniel. Later Andrew and Chooi also came, so 3vs3... and ended up draw, lol. Then faster went back home, cause thought of blowing the birthday cake. But already too late (pass 12am) and dad was asleep, so only eat the (yummy Secret Recipe) cake the following morning...

Sat... I should have followed my friends to go mountain hiking, but because dad's back and long time no balik kampung liao, so I have to cancel. Daniel, Yling, Jimmy, WingC, Oon, SG and CMing still proceed climbing the 'difficult' mountain with no problem. Darn, I wished I could have joined! But at the time when they were only starting to decend the mountain, I was on the way to Perak liao. Oh well, maybe next time... >.<

I heard they were very tired on the way up, then after back to the bottom, they decided to go back home (plus CM got karaoke session with his friends). Is it really so tiring? I bet they terus sleep on their beds when reached home liao (like Daniel did). How I know? Cause I was keeping track of them by calling Daniel before and after I reached Gopeng. Haha...!

(to be continued- Perak, the new KL!)

It's her birthday, again

So today is 'her' birthday. The old me will be thrilled. It's like one of the most important date of the year, as important as ...
