Lately really getting lazier and lazy-ier, due to sickness and boringness... while rotting at home. Nothing much to report due to just staying at home, but last week Saturday was a fun and exciting day.
Last Sat Daniel went for some run training early in the morning. So I didn't follow him, nearly 12pm I was at Wangsa Maju LRT... 12pm!? I got half an hour to reach the front gate of Times Square! Amazingly, with a little high in cost, I was able to reach there with only 5 minutes late... But no one was in sight, and Jimmy was window shopping with WingC, so I went to find him, after waited for nearly half an hour... alone!
So the 3 of us walk here and there, thinking what to eat since McDonald was FULL of people. In the end we decided to try Wendy, which was okok... and a little bit expensive. Daniel joined us and have lunch in Wendy too. WingC left to find SG. Later Sum came with his gf, and we shifted to a Japanese restaurant to see him eat, haha...
Finished, we went to shop for a 'slow cooker' as a souvenir in occasion of SP's open house. I didn't know what was a slow cooker, but it was more or less a rice cooker (or a soup boiler). SG and WingC joined us there, and all of us (except WingC and Jimmy) shared the present. Then it's time to go to SP's house!
It wasn't that hard to find, with Jimmy's GPS and Daniel's knowledge of Cheras area. We parked our car and I was a bit nervous to see how my good friend SP has changed after years of no contact at all. When I saw her, I was shocked... she was still the same old SP, which is a very good thing. Her face didn't change at all, haha. Looking more matured, I'm glad she turned out to be such a strong woman, and now a wife to Rodney.
The house was big, new and beautiful. Near RM300k to buy and modify the whole house, it is definitely a place she will be staying for a long long time. Buffet style dinner, we ate after touring the house, leaded by SP. The home + catering buffet was definitely an eye opener for me. It was ALL VEGETARIAN!!! But heck, some of it tasted so good and almost like meat, I only believed it is true when I heard it from the host's mother! Siao... really siao.....!!
Some of the food was fantastic, so I ate a lot, haha (especially the egg tart, yummy!). Sat for so long, soon CMing came with Oon... and even later, YLing came with her sis, Ee Ching. We all continue to chat and eat until YL was done. So we took another tour of the house, since the late comers didn't see it yet. This time we sat in SP's bedroom and chat about her 'stuffs' and exchanged hp numbers. Next time we can find her yamcha (if she's free). It was fun and entertaining, so long no chat with them liao... ^^
The house was actually bought by Rodney only... and although registered, they will still host a wedding dinner (yam chau) later this year, and will be inviting all of us over to Perak for the happy occasion. I'm glad she still remember all of us very fondly, here's wishing her a happy and wonderful marriage with many beautiful children in the future... ~Cheers!~
