Last Sat seems like only me and David, as we start our journey for his Cleo Top 50 Most Eligible Bachelor 2008. He came at around 9am, and we went for breakfast first. The strange thing is he says he saw 'Honi' at the Whitetown Kopitiam (on the way to Batu Caves with the roles of restaurant on the left area). Honi? I only know Hanie, but aren't she working in her father opened pharmacy in Kemansah?
So we ate, and I nearly died from the access syrup I poured on my French Toast (cause David wants to take a pic with pouring honey). Then as we were heading for the van, I saw Fairuz... Isn't he Hanie's bf? So that means... yup, Hanie came later... and she still looks the same! I have not seen her after Secondary school, which is like 8-9 years now! It looks like she is working as a manager or supervisor there. Pity we can't chat long as David is late, so I said keep in touch as Fairuz already have my hp number last time, and left...
Reached The Curve nearly 10am, which is the time of gathering. Looks like they are having a short rehearsal for the stage intro. They only did it 2 times and we were allowed to come back later, one hour later. So we went jalan-jalan, read some books from Borders, then went back. Looks like they need to do make-up, training and stuffs for hours, so I went to Borders alone again after that.
Around 12pm, went back to see how was things going. David changed into a bachelor t-shirt like the rest and they still haven't started until an hour later. Then saw a familiar face walking... it was Edward! Another old buddy that I haven't seen in years, he came because Shalini told him about the news and she may even come later (but didn't). He also bought along his new gf, so they went for a walk before coming back later for the show.
Finally the show started, late. It was first the intro walk, followed by games. The host was Selina C and another funny dude, don't know his name. The first game was pumping, and David stand up before his name was announced... and the host straight went to him and asked 'David, why did you stand up?'. And he said 'Because I like doing push-ups!' and the crowd laughed... it was really funny but we are there to have fun, aren't we? XD
Then they were other hilarious games like:
a) drawing with a lipstick, using your mouth!
b) dress up your heroine, with random stuffs!
c) match the photos of different human parts with the correct guy
d) and the best: bollywood and pole dancing, done by guys! LOL
It was funny and entertaining, but towards the end only did suddenly Daniel and Angeline pop up. Daniel went for mountain climbing earlier and straight went to fetch her then came, that's why late. I heard Satkuru was there also but didn't see him. After the show ended, David and the other bachelors went into Starbucks Coffee for a light tea time but we are not allowed inside, except special people with bands are.
So we went to find for ATM machines before going for lunch. On the way, we saw Reuben, another dude that I haven't seen since Sec school! He was the smartest boy of our form. So since he's free, we went for lunch together and chat all the way about old times. He sound a bit bored and lonely since he moved to PJ. Most of his friends are either moved, busy working or just don't contact anymore (selfish). It's a pity he moved so far or else he could find us for yamcha anytime. He's still studying, part time working and I didn't asked about the rumours of his life. He is still the same old Reuben, except for his hairstyle, lol...
David joined us as we ate in IKEA, then we finally part ways. Reuben went back as he's tired, and we went for the pet store. After that went to popular bookshop. I was shocked to learned there that Angeline was actually... wanted to be an interior designer! Her dad objects as he says there was no future for interior designers in Malaysia (so is others!). Anyway, I was amazed how she browse through those books on house designs with love and curiosity. Another person I see that couldn't follow her dreams... sad.
Then we went for dinner at Murni, near SS2 PJ. Quite a famous mamak store, they serve a lot of good variety foods at a very large portion! When we arrived it was actually full too. Luckily we bumped into Angeline's friends, and we shared table. The food arrived a bit late because there were too many people, but it was worth it. I ordered Nasi Goreng Marylamb Chicken and a super big cup of orange juice, and it only costs RM16! Ok, it maybe a bit expensive... but if you see the portion, it is definitely worth it! My first time there, couldn't wait for the second... lol. I even ate David's potato wedges and some Mee Raja... nice! *burp*
Then send Angeline home (which is so near there), and took some photos. After that David went back himself and I followed Daniel to find Chong Ming for second round of yamcha, omg! But it was still fun and we left an hour ++ later. Reached home around 2.30am, and everyone was already asleep. On SO and Angeline still reading mangas on her com at that time, swt! The whole day I went out for 17 hours straight, and was dead tired for the next two days... x_x

Only the calm and disiplined can gamble
One thing I learn from my parents, is the way they gamble (in casinos at Genting). My mom and dad are two person with different attitudes when they gamble on the roulette table. Why? Here's what I observed:
My dad is the 'lucky and big money' type. He always believes in his few favourites number to open. So, he will put a lot of chips on those numbers, then a little on some other, in case he don't win, he still get back some. The outcome? He will either win BIG or lose BIG, because he won't stop until the time comes. If win, he will keep going because he thought it is his 'day'. If lose, he will keep trying because he thought that sooner or later, his favourite number will surely come.
My mom on the other hand is the 'play safe' type of person. She only plays a certain amount (for instance RM300). Then she will find a place to sit and observes the number that comes. After quite some time, she will analyse what number that will comes next, and put a bit on some different numbers that she analysed. The outcome? She will either lose the small amount of money she used earlier, and walk away... OR she will win, small or big. Usually she wins more than lose, impressive!
So what can I conclude from this? It shows that men need to be thinking straight no matter what you are doing. They cannot give lust, greed or power to change their actions and mindset, which usually end up bad. They need to be rational and not greedy... because it is better to be safe than sorry, late than never. Trying to always take the easy and fast way will not guarantee success, and using dirty tactics will usually make you suffer. Keep going the straight road, and you will eventually reach the end... in one piece.
P/S: This post is not telling you that you should gamble in a 'good' way as your occupation or hobby, ok?

A strange and crazy world
Most of us are busy with our own lives. Some are busy working their lives off to find money. Some are dying of starvation and can do nothing about it except pray. Others are living their days like another normal day, with their own problems and happiness. Most are just busy trying to take care of their own lives before having the power to help others, if they want to...
Lately the prices of rice, an all important food especially for Asians, are sky-rocketing in other countries. This has causes so many people to unable to buy rice and they have to substitute it with other foods. No doubt Malaysia will be affected, and the prices of other foods like Mee Hoon will also rise because of this. Another hike!? Most probably...
Then comes news of the Math genius, Sufiah Yusof, who turns into a prostitute. It's a bit related to Malaysia because the mother comes from Johor. I was first curious, because I don't know there's a Math Genius from Malaysia (she went into Oxford at the age of 12... 12!?! I was happy to get 4As for my UPSR at 12, but she passed... OXFORD!?). Then I was shocked, because his dad was imprisoned for sexually assaulting two 15 years old girls, as he home tutored them in Math! What kind of pervert is he!?
Finally I was sad, that his once so smart and innocent girl, eventually turned into a prostitute to earn money for a living. Maybe she was mentally and physically abused when young, thus the outcome now. Sad... sad... I really hate those idiotic parents who forced their children so hard, that in the end, they do more harm than good. Some of my friends are like that too. Stupid fools!!
The world is getting weirder and crazier as we evolve. From mouse growing human ears at their back, to goats giving super threads as milk... this world is so advanced, it's scary. There are even robots that can combine themselves to become a bigger and better robot... on their own! No wonder people come up with movies that show the end of the world, in the hands of the thing we created ourselves. Maybe human will extinct because of their own actions in the future... if we don't die of pollution and global warming first!

Made a bank account
After weeks no do, finally take up the initiative to make a bank account in CIMB bank. Mom says want me to make another bank account where I can draw money if in CASE need la... XD
After dropping my bro in TARC, my youngest bro says there's a small CIMB bank near TRB (which is near TARC). The bank was so small, I thought only can do money transactions or stuffs like that. But when I approached the counter, he ask me 'Saving account or current account?'. I don't know what's the difference between the two, so I just stick to savings account...
He gives me 1 form, 1 ATM application paper and 1 bank in slip. Wah, so much to fill in one?! The funny thing (and different from other banks) is it got one part which you need to fill in an answer for 'Preferred personal'. I was like... wth? Luckily the bank people earlier told me to fill in a person's name, not others like 'basketball'. Swt... then I realised it maybe useful in the future if the bank people asked, sort of like a secret question.
After kautim all, pass the stuffs, then I need to scan my thumb to see if it's corresponding with my IC. It fails! Wat the *tuut*!?! Then he says it will help if I got my driving license, which I do! So handling him both IC and driving license, he starts to process my new savings account. Boy, it took quite a while, finally finished after half an hour ++! And the change pin code paper wasn't sealed! The one I got from Public Bank was closed. Swt...
Then ate at TBR. I thought of trying the vegetarian mix rice, but it costs me RM3.80! So expensive! Although nice, but nearly RM4 for a plate of rice is definitely not worth it especially for students... After makan kenyang, walk up 12 floors again. Fuh... fuh... Last week walked almost 10 times liao, tak cukup ka!? -_-;

A sudden outing
Yesterday night played DOTA with Jimmy until 12am. When I closed Warcraft, I saw Daniel's MSN message. He asked if I wanted to join him go mountain climbing tomorrow morning. I was shocked! Why? First reason, he just recovered from fever, and want to go mountain climbing tomorrow?!? Second, why so late only decide... cause I just agreed to my mom that I will bring her for breakfast tomorrow morning (can't call my bro cause he went out until the wee hours of the night).
So, I have to decline, although YL and her sis is going too. Luckily Daniel's bro joined, else I scared if he fainted, how do the 2 girls bring him down from up there? Lol...
As planned, this morning I become the driver, sending mom and my 2 bros here and there. After that, I was just in time to park in front of Daniel's house before he reached 1 minute later. They all look so 'pucat' and like going to drop dead anytime, except Kevin, from the mountain climbing. We went inside Daniel's house for a while before straight going out for lunch.
We ate at Wangsa Maju, somewhere in the newly developed areas with new restaurants. All of us ate except Daniel and Andrew. Looks like Daniel is still sick and don't have the appetite or energy to eat, just drank a cup of fruit juice. So after I showed the way for YL and her sis to go back, through the Cheras road (which is jammed all the way here!), I sent them home. Daniel missed his 'appointment' and even left his hp in my car, so I have to drive all the way back to return it to him.
Overall it was a an OK day. Although I was able to see her, I already told myself to stop dreaming and just treat the day as a normal friends outing. I shall start anew and forget the painful past. Although I missed the trip up the hills, it was substituted with me walking up 12 floors again (damn lift!). Still, all is better than just staying at home...! XD

Love is blind... or opposite attracts?
Everyone knows that love is a strange and funny thing. We cannot explain how love works or scientifically acknowledge how to control love. Love comes from the heart, mind and soul. But because of that, we sometimes choose the wrong partner based on the word 'love' alone...
So the question in my mind is, which is the cause of these random love? Do a girl love another guy who she never seen before in her life, because love is blind... or because the guy is totally the opposite of her? Why I ask this is because I have seen many couples which are totally the opposite of each other (example stingy/ kind, hard-headed/ understanding, short/ tall, fat/ thin, beautiful/ not beautiful), yet they stayed together and may even get married one day.
So, do these couples like each other because he/she can fill up the weakness of each another? Maybe, since bad and old habits are hard to change. Some doesn't even want to change as it build their characters. So finding a person who can love you for you are (even with your bad traits) will somehow develop the 'love' and 'like' feeling in the heart and mind, and eventually you will think he/she is the one for life!
But some 'ambitious' ones will think 'I will change his bad attitudes when we are married'. Come on... how many do you think can REALLY do that?!? For example, in the first place he like you because he thought you like him for who he is. But after married, the wife tries to change the husband, and eventually he will think 'I have fell in love with the wrong woman!'... so finally divorce will come soon after. Why don't she think of changing him BEFORE marriage? The reason maybe because she is confident he will change slowly but surely in the future OR she's scared she will lose him if she tries to change him now (but will get worse AFTER, lol). These thinking are sooooo wrong!
I really pity those that is trying hard to maintain their relationship but deep inside, the love is really slowly dying, without realising it. Love should not be so painful or suffering... love should be enjoyed by both and the feeling must be mutual and true. Trying to be one you are not or keeping everything inside will not make you happy, and after marriage it will get worse, believe me. So if you realised he/she is not the one you want for life, wake up NOW. There is still a lot of fishes in the sea, so why gamble and take a step that you will regret for the rest of your life?
If you are the one who thinks that love is blind, then sorry, I can't help you. Why? Because most of the people who thinks like that eventually will succumb into the love pit, and feel happy for the rest of their lives (or opposite)! XD
IQ Question: which part of the human body is the sweat-tiest of all? (means paling byk berpeluh loh) Answers in the comment box, and I will reveal later!

Yesterday finished registering for TARC
Had a busy day yesterday, go here and there to finish up all the preparations then go to TARC to pass up the form. Then only I know that all the stuffs (money order, stamps, photostat service and prove of authencity) is provided in there! O...M...G la!! Then I don't need to go post office and photostat shop if I knew that, kns!
So, finally all settled... will soon start my life as a student again. Although it is too late, yet better to be late than never. Although it will look strange and weird, still I need to endure it to become successful. Although I may get criticized or mocked around, I STILL must do it...! Maybe after completing it then finish my last sem in GD, I will get two Diplomas? Who knows.....
If you didn't know, I'm taking a dip in Multimedia Design this year, 1) because I prefer to use the com and combined it with hand-tasking stuffs. 2) it will help if I decided to be serious in blogging or anything else that is related to the internet later. 3) it has some relation with GD, so I can use it as an advantage in the future!

Although it will look strange and weird, still I need to endure it to become successful. Although I may get criticized or mocked around, I STILL must do it...! Maybe after completing it then finish my last sem in GD, I will get two Diplomas? Who knows.....

Do she need to pay the bill?
I had a dream about her and my friends last night. So simple yet nice, so normal yet... memorable. I miss them all.....
Nowadays we say man and woman are equals, how true is that? One of the question I have been pondering, when you go out with your girlfriend, do you pay for her bill?
Some says no, some says yes. If yes, you need to pay... maybe because you are 'gentleman' mah. Gentleman need to show their 'good side' by paying for the girl. Girls also like guys who got 'money' and if you can pay for her bill everytime, it shows that you have 'cukup wang' and is in the running to be the next eligible husband!
But for me, I will say no. Why?? Because we are equals, I don't think you are weak nor that you do not have the ability to pay for yourself. IF you can't, then I will pay for you lah... Some more I prefer everything to be simple yet memorable, thus I don't need for us to go for expensive restaurants just for a lovely candlelight dinner. I prefer we enjoy ourselves on a normal place, with standard pricing. This way, we could BOTH can pay for our own meal, lol...
Maybe because I haven't go on a date, that's why I say like that. Still, I don't think I will be one of those men that will pay EVERYTIME they go for food. It's like a 'job' for them liao. I prefer to be equal beings, so I won't be bias or unfair. Everything happens based on your actions. If you don't like to pay everytime, try to tell her 'indirectly', so she won't be hurt. Too much of something is always not good...!

Yesterday was a holiday...?
Yup, for most I think. I didn't know it was a holiday until Daniel went yamcha with me on Tuesday night and told me. If I have known sooner, maybe could have plan a small gathering with my TARC friends. (But later realised most of them are busy also, sien...)
So yesterday drive car went to find Daniel around 10am, pergi makan breakfast. I thought he was sleeping, yes... he was. Rupanya tidur at nearly 5 am the night before, walao... But holiday where can spend tidur! Finally after he do a bit of his blogging stuffs, we went to makan at mamak.
Strange, there like... not so many customers one? Not holiday meh? Maybe all went to sleep, which is a good thing for us. I want to eat at a place where there got people around, but not too many people. So we chat and eat, feeling so at ease... After that go back to his house, watch some videos, then come back out for lunch. Life like this is simple yet totally calm and relaxing. Eating Mee Jawa with a cup of Teh Ais, under the trees (got canopy covering our heads) and near the roadside, chatting with my good old pal is totally what I want in life (when I retire, lol)...
We chat about politics, love, life, people, marriage, etc. Yes, it can get childish or too matured, but that's what chit-chatting is all about! I even learned some interesting facts, one which is where you need both couple to be Christians to be allowed and get married in a church. Then if different religion, susah loh? That's why love is actually more 'deep' and complicated than it seems. You think marriage is so easy? Think again.....
